That's the point about why you don't take the TE over the tackle. If Latham never hits his ceiling but is still a good LT that is such massive difference than if the elite TE just becomes a good TE. If the two prospects are rated similarly there isn't a single team in the NFL who takes the TE if they don't have the LT.

Yeah. I don’t really regret the Latham pick, but hard to argue a guy with a Kelce/Gronk like trajectory wouldn’t have been a fine pick. To be fair to everyone who didn’t want Bowers over a LT (myself included), we’ve seen Hockenson and Kyle Pitts both have a similar level of hype and not reach that superstar level that was expected, though they’re both very good still.

There's an argument technique where you use an existing, familiar battleground with a known reputation and point out how even they think someone else is X ... thereby helping to show how reasonable it is when you, yourself, also say that other person is X. Whether or not you're capable of employing such a basic approach to communication, you'd benefit to at least learn it so you look less stupid when you talk.

Bowers appears to be generational as those of us advocated for him believed. It's good that Latham has done well but I have a feeling we'll look back on this ten years from now and wonder if the Titans should have taken Bowers/LT in the 2nd.

Opening drive for us derailed before it started with 2 false starts. They come amout and score in 4 plays. We do shit on the 2nd drive. They move right down the field again. Pollard funbles on the first play of our 3rd drive they score. Jackson fumbles on the kickoff and they score. We finaly hold them to a fg atempt which they miss. We score a td on an ugly 2min drive. Hold them to start the 3rd. We drive and get a fg. Now this drive.
