Shedeur got in just in time!

social media and grievance culture has damn near ruined sports conversation. Clay Travis showed the nashville media machine being critical and hating everything gets you clicks. Stillman followed suit and over the past few years PK has shed is grumpy nature for one similar to Travis and Stillman. Then throw in all the idiots with mic pretending to offer expert analysis like ticktakmoron and its hard to navigate whats worth consuming vs whats not.

Vince comes across as pretty much what he was: a tremendous college player who was mentally and emotionally unprepared for what it takes to be an NFL QB. Vince does accept and own up to his numerous mistakes and missteps and his own role in his failed NFL career. But he's also highly critical of the Titans and other NFL organizations for failing to provide a strong support system for a struggling young player who was in over his head. Vince also has some pretty strong daddy issues...probably because he never had any relationship with his own father, who was in prison for most of Vince's younger years. With Vince's emotional disposition, he expected (and probably needed) a coach who would also serve as a father figure at times....exactly what Mack Brown provided. But of course, the NFL is all business.....and when Vince got to Tennessee, Jeff Fisher wasn't the father-figure type; he was The Boss. Even back then, it was fairly common knowledge that Fisher and Vince didn't see eye to eye....but that situation was even worse than many of us realized. The documentary does a good job of illustrating just how tense and strained that relationship became....to the point where even the rest of the team was on eggshells, half-expecting an explosion any time Vince and Fisher were in the same room. The documentary definitely doesn't do Fisher any favors. He comes across as a petty and unwilling to let go of grudges from 20 years ago. It also becomes evident that Fisher personally instigated a lot of much of the controversy and media scrutiny on Vince by tipping off his reporter buddies whenever Vince screwed up or did some dumb shit. And it wasn't just Vince saying this....the rest of the players also saw through Fisher’s act . I got the distinct impression that while the other players respected Fisher as a coach....they didn't particularly like playing for him or think much of him as a person. It's a decent documentary that's worth watching for any Titans fan.....but it also leaves a bit of a bad taste in your mouth for both Vince and Fisher.

Yeah sounds like Cam has lost any accuracy he did have. I don't care about scheming or not, when you are rolling out to wide open players in the redzone, you cant miss them 2x in a row. I am officially worried about his shoulder and him not having surgery on it. He showed inaccuracies last year but no where to the level we've seen so far, He wasn't missing wide open guys on 15 yard passes.

His notable client list consists of Cam, Shedeur, and Pavia... Posted last year he needs to go to someone with a proven track record. A QB coach isn't a guaranteed fix, but you've gotta turn over every stone. Even Levis at least went to Jordan Palmer. Like @Number9said, I don't ever see Colbert actually coaching him on any sort of mechanics in these videos. Think he's even gone on record about letting "Cam be Cam".

The story about VY going to jail for the 2nd DUI was the perfect example of his mindset. He talked about wanting to beat up the cop. Not because the cop mistreated him but because he knew the media backlash that was coming as result of the arrest. It was the cops fault.

Never realized it was that toxic, and I can't believe Bud allowed all that to go on for 5 years. Fisher was correct about a lot of things, but going to the media like he did was utter bullshit, and the only motivation for doing it was to hurt Vince because he hated him. Anyone with an ounce of integrity would have resigned before doing what he did. I can't imagine a HC behaving in that way today. Everyone coddles the shit out of young QBs now.

It's more of a fluff piece that leaned a little more into VY's favor, but Fisher's character is laid out. He's just a duplicitous, self-centered piece of shit. His answers about refusing to answer VY's letter, and Bo Scaife's and LenDale White's commentary just serve to confirm it. I would like to believe he wasn't actively trying to cause him to fail, but he never wanted him in the first place so wouldn't his failure only serve to confirm his stance on not drafting VY? VY was 100% responsible for his own failures, obviously. But he was a 22 year old coddled ass Texas U superstar at the time who had just won one of the greatest national title games of all time and was made the 3rd overall pick in the draft right after. The guy was drowning in a sea of adulation, enablement, and immaturity. Fisher had his work cut out for him and he was pissed off that workload was forced on him in the first place. Fisher could have done the opposite of what he did. He could have been the father figure VY obviously needed. Maybe it wouldn't have worked anyway. But instead he chooses the path that included cops and a photographer to frame up a suicide story that he leaked to the media? Who tf does that? He was there to take the ride (and credit) if VY had panned out, but he was even more ready to bail and help speed the failure up first chance he got. Win/win in his mind. Fisher and VY were a shotgun marriage that never had a snowball's chance in hell of succeeding. And neither had much of a career after they left here.

What's even funnier is he's probably right.

I fully expect Cam to have an up and down year, but I also think he has qualities and intangibles that will make him successful once the game slows down for him. That won't likely be this season...at least during the early part. They just need to stay the course.

This is factually incorrect. Again...I was right there. I saw the whole thing. He absolutely ran over to the bench and refused to go back in. The coaches were scrambling around trying to find him and they literally had to shove him onto the field. That's 100% what happened. He wasn't benched. He didn't miss a play until he got hurt later.

The most Titan thing ever if it is the shoulder, that he hurt in a meaningless game. We can't have nice things. God, I miss Tannahill.

This right here is the one thing that pissed me off at the time and still does...the way 60 minutes intentionally took that out of context and everyone ran with it. I watched it..... A few things stood out. Of course VY quit in the middle of practice and was quitting UT because they were putting in a new play and they got the other QB to run it. He threw his helmet and shoulder pads. They had to get McNair to call him and go back. I was shocked he's only 43. He threw his last pass at 28. He's be When he talked about his career it's obvious he's haunted and still bothered he didn't get the most out of it. He flat out said it. He clearly knows he wasted his talent, whatever it was going to be. He got choked up talking about it a few times. Throughout the Doc he and his family made excuse after excuse. He was late for the team plane. He was caught behind a funeral(everyone else made it). It was unfair Fisher left him. He was partying all the time missing meetings. The media asked him about it. He wanted to know who told them, no fair. How about show up on time tard. He tore the ligament in his thumb and thought it was unfair Fisher didn't let him play anyway. He clearly couldn't play. Unfair. He said the Eagles cut him because people were stealing his money(sure they were). No fair. BTW, the idiot wasn't cut, he signed a one year deal. He then gave excuses for not making it with the Bills, GB and Browns. He also said he wanted to beat up a cop that arrested him because he knew it would be all over the news. Of course his life has been a disaster since leaving college and UT pays him to hang around. I did think Fisher looked petty. Taking a shot at him for misspelling his name was weak.

There are a ton of reasons a RB has sub par production in a game or games. In 1984 when Dickerson set the record he had games like 23 carries for 49 yards and 13 carries for 38 yards. To act as if this is some kind of proof Henry was the same RB he always was is so laughable it's unworthy of response. Derrick Henry gets in an interview and explains why he was playing so poorly, the coaches(Mularkey and Vrabel both) had him as a back-up, he was losing his job and on the trade block. We saw it with our own eyes. He turned his career around. A person is either in denial or stupid to deny this reality
