Robinson also drafted Jonnu Smith in the 3rd whereas Kittle went in the 5th. Also, he drafted Dez Fitzpatrick in the 4th instead of Amon-Ra St. Brown. That one is especially egregious considering we actually traded UP to draft Dez instead of Brown. Imagine that... he could have given Tannehill Amon-Ra to go along with AJ Brown. In the end, he failed to draft one and traded away the other one for a chronically injured Dollar Tree version of him. Fucking idiot. The more time passes the more you realize just how much of a bum Robinson really was. That may be irrelevant to the topic at hand, but I see an opportunity to pile on QC I take it. Fuck him.4 points -

https://www.miamiherald.com/news/local/crime/article307566596.html A South Florida man sentenced to 50 years in prison for ripping off tens of millions of dollars from Medicare was among the more than two dozen people whom President Donald Trump granted clemency to this week. Lawrence Duran — the former co-owner of American Therapeutic Corp., a Miami-based company that ran seven healthcare clinics between South Florida and Orlando — pleaded guilty in May 2011 to multiple felonies, including defrauding Medicare, healthcare fraud and money laundering. A judge sentenced Duran, now 63, to the longest prison term in history for Medicare fraud in September 2016. Trump issued Duran’s commutation on Wednesday. Duran and his girlfriend, Marianella Valera, the co-owner of the company and one of its therapists, filed 866,000 false claims with Medicare and received more than $87 million from their scheme, according to court records.2 points -

After Hegseth put the Yemen time of launch out on Signal. no US ally should or probably will share sensitive info with us. It's clear this administration can't be trusted.2 points -
Also worth noting that Republicans were ready and had enough signatures to pass the bill until Trump told them not to…. because then he couldn’t complain about the Biden administration being soft on immigration. Of course it’s all politics….but I have a serious problem with Congress taking instruction and doing the bidding of a former President who’s no longer in office.2 points

Invasion of Ukraine: Drone Incursion Into Poland
IsntLifeFunny and one other reacted to OILERMAN for a topic
President Donald Trump was deliberately left in the dark about Ukraine’s unprecedented drone strike in Russia on Sunday, which destroyed nearly a third of the Kremlin’s strategic bomber fleet in a surprise attack. The White House however has declined to comment on the attack—with an administration source confirming to NewsNation on Sunday that Trump was not informed about the operation before it had taken place.2 points -

You actually don't think Vrabel is a good coach? Again, he has the highest winning percentage of any TITANS HC. He is recognized by the NFL media services/podcasters/writers to be a very good coach. He is the only Titans HC to ever win COY. The guy's a damn good football coach. The best one we have had since Jeff Fisher.2 points -

Maybe Musk was trying to do what Booker did and muscle memory'd sieg heil or something, but if you can't see the distinct differences between the two actions, then you have a serious inability to parse human body language. (but likely just being a dumbass deliberately)2 points

I believe Cam Ward will be a top level franchise/elite QB
IsntLifeFunny and one other reacted to NashvilleNinja for a topic
There’s the window-dressing on Ward that gets you in the door. He’s a baller. He’s productive. He does a lot of things at a high level physically. But what his coaching staff does to him next is what Brian Callahan and company hopes will set him apart from the rest: "...and either Mario (Cristobal), Shannon Dawson, somebody just looked over at the officials who you have working practice and told them ‘just call a hold. There wasn't one, but just call a hold. Let's just see what happens." The Miami coaching staff was trying to push him mentally. They wanted to press his buttons in practice to see how he’d react in a game. Sometimes in football, like in life, you just get screwed over. How you react is what makes you a winner or a loser. “He loses it for a second, because he knows good and well it was a bad call” Pate goes on. “But they just regroup, and they go score again, and then they call another phantom penalty to negate the score because they just want to see how he's going to react. And he loses it again, composes himself again. They go down there a third time. They call a third penalty on him. They re-rack it again, go down there, score.” Cam was some combination of unphased and motivated by the injustice. It’s hard to say which is a more powerful element in his mind, but whatever it is, he makes it work. Not just in practice, but all over his college tape. It’s what his new NFL coaches saw in him that got them really juiced up. https://atozsports.com/nfl/tennessee-titans-news/how-cam-wards-miami-coaches-would-push-his-buttons-to-test-him-mentally-and-why-his-response-is-what-makes-him-different/2 points -

Context matters here. Only a truly stupid human-being cannot distinguish between the two. Musk is the one who literally showed up to a white supremacist far-right German rally and gave a speech imploring Nazis to get past their guilt. Then he gave the salutes. There is no plausible deniability. You’re actually stupid for even trying to post a “gotcha” in this context.2 points -

Yes, yes. Back to the “I’m a victim in an unjust situation” routine. Unfair! I think @headhunterwould agree that any illegal has the potential to be more than just a “good” illegal, although I have yet to see him weigh in on your righteous assignment from God to employ and protect illegals. Sounds like you’re “woke” when it suits your agenda.2 points -

Got ya. Had me intertest to see them cut all the trees off the top of a part of the Appalachian mountains and dig out a bowl and corridors like some kinda new age petra. Actualy would be a neat little nod to the greeks as well since they dug amphitheaters out of the side of hills/mountains. A little late for that but still.1 point -

Guess this is a good thread to post it too. Stroud seems to be dealing with a pec/shoulder injury from the season. Its putting Texans fans in a bit of a panic mode. Something to monitor going forward for the division. They are scared to death they have the same medical team as the Astros. big, lengthy, good hand play.. but weak, slow, not agile or quick. good as a straight ahead run blocker and likely never very good as a pass blocker. hopefully an nfl locker room changes a lot of his weaknesses but usually its too late by now.1 point
