Jrob went all in on the defense. Vrabel was saying "it's the players not the coaches" Proof was in the pudding with AJB. Add in the oline struggles and how much was invested. We gave up a lot of high picks and cash to end up with Daley, Radunz, Brewer, Davis, NPF. And don't forget Corey Davis. The team has stagnated at good. JRob's all in moves all failed and he has had critical failures in areas that are supposed to be foundational to the team (OL). It's still a shock, especially midseason. Vrabel won the power struggle here like JRob won it over Mularkey. The expectations are high here, you can't say they're not swinging for the fences. You have to wonder (and maybe worry?) if Vrabel gets more control over the GM level decisions. That doesn't always work out... I suspect Vrabel would be his own worst enemy. I hope they keep that power far away from him. IsntLifeFunny, Btowner, luvyablue256, and 1 other 2

Popular Post 2ToneTerror
Shocked. this could be a historically bad move. Vrabel has truly achieved Jeff Fisher 2.0 status. Popular Post Justafan
I don't really understand the move. Jrob has missed plenty but he's also built a solid roster that has won six years in a row and everyone loves him, including Amy. He's popular with media and fans too. The team is winning. As always, I hope for the best and I want to see the Titans succeed but it almost makes me think this isn't just a football move. Maybe they have the inside track on someone they really want to bring in or maybe they're tired of the run first mentality and feel the need to make a change? The whole thing just kinda feels off. In short... holy shit, didn't see that one coming. prometheus, OILERMAN, Thrill, and 3 others

headhunter
I don't think it's one thing I think it's a bunch. There's definitely a lack of talent in places. The OL is criminal. Also we have to resign Simmons. I honestly wouldn't have been surprised if Robinson traded him off for a 1st and 3rd. Which is basically nothing. Plus we've been terrible high in the draft only for the middle and back half to bail us out. McCreary looks like another high pick bust. Popular Post notsolegato
I think Vrabel has been pissed since the draft. The Rexrode story about OSU seemed weirdly confident. I now wonder if Vrabel fed him something about going to OSU, and then Vrabel used that storyline + the Eagles game to basically make Amy choose either him or JRob. Would add some more context to the comments about being at a crossroads. Justafan, OILERMAN, Cajuntitan, and 11 others
