To be fully accurate: McCarthy said “a congressman” (obviously Gaetz) was already under investigation for fucking a 17-year old…and he demanded that McCarthy use his position as the Speaker to make the investigation go away as a condition of giving McCarthy his vote. Corruption? check. Influence peddling? check. Abuse of power? check. Quid pro quo? Check Republicans willfully ignoring actual corruption while feigning outrage over the fabricated Hunter Biden dog-and-pony show bullshit? Check

This is rarely done in the NFL, but you could trade Surtain to a 3rd team and get draft assets that way. I'd imagine the Broncos would probably toss in a high round 2025 pick as well. But 12 is a spot where you could still get a top tier LT. Getting fair comp from DEN is tricky because they don't have a 2nd or decent players that match our needs.
