This is basically what Seattle did. Hire a smart DC with strong leadership and hire Kubiak to run a Shanahan style offense.

I like the premise, we'll see on the results.

I mean, it’s what we did 8 years ago. Lol

There are a few MLB owners that are worse.  He might be the worst NFL owner though.

MLB bad owners are just on a different level.

Do we move to a base 4-3? I think he prefers more dynamic front four play. Saleh places more emphasis on multiple LBs and good LB play than what we have in the past several years.

I think a guy like Cody Barton now becomes an odd fit.

Also, I think the likelihood of us going edge at 4 has increased

Pair that up with Reuben Bain going crazy in the National Championship.

Bongo, he just had a defensive front made from the bottom of the waiver wire.  Not saying that they don't take Bain or Bailey, but never overlook the importance of ball control to a defensive minded coach.

Particularly one who just the impact of a Christian McCaffrey on an offense that featured not 1 star wide out.   I never claim to be an expert, but I've heard many say that Love is the best talent in the draft.

He fits Saleh as much as Bailey does.

I would think McDaniels will be the OC if he is not hired as a HC.  Both get along, and Saleh would probably give McDaniels a free reign. Also, McDaniels would know that if he developed Ward, he would be a top HC candidate later.

Don't think Borgonzi will go for Love at this point in the rebuild.  This roster is still 2 off-seasons away from being top of the line and RBs are easy to find.  More like RBBC for this year, imo.
