No idea where this nugget fits so thought it might worth starting a thread for all Titans non HC offseason discussion.   This was meant to happen last offseason but Sweat never showed up so

Who will we draft? The answer has been there the whole time.

Yeah I dunno, for Ayo to catch 60 balls

you’re gonna have to target him like 150  times with his drop rate.

I completely agree. However, if he even achieves league-average catch rate (58-62%), there’s no reason he can’t improve to approximately 50-55 catches and around 700 yards on the same number of targets. This would represent a realistic step forward for him.

Love can come in and immediately impact the passing game. Helm to take a step forward. Dike to be utilized better. Ayo to hopefully improve on his drops and settle into his role. In is not impossible an impact WR is there in two--I would be fine going triple down on offense in this draft if someone very solid is there at 2 (Cooper) or ignoring WR altogether.

Ridley was mostly on the field with Cam when he didn't have it together early in the season. I remember so many "almost" plays where Ridley would have broken it. He looked great in the offseason.

A healthy Ridley with low expectations, better Cam, and fixed culture.

Our WR room was awful last season. He can provide us with something, a solid piece of the puzzle and has experience. Saleh can light that fire under his ass in a way that Cally couldn't. There's also familiarity with Daboll.

I don't mind keeping him at all.

Call me a sentimental homer, but I'd also bring in nWi to compete for a spot if he isn't doing anything else.

Are you serious? That music is as much amthe star of that clip as CJ's speed. Lol

I didn't really watch much NFL at that time.  Holy mother of fuck he is fast.

Fastest RB ever and one of the fastest players ever at any position.

Love is a more complete RB and better player than CJ.

I'd still take CJ. His top speed makes up for most of his "deficiencies" in other areas. On any given run by him from any place on the field he was a threat to take it to the house. Love can break long ones too, but we've seen defenders track him down. No one was tracking CJ down at his peak.

Yeah, there's speed and there's CJ speed. He's the last guy Prag and I were fully on board drafting and were pulling hard for him. Bowers came close but not as much as CJ.

Personally I think the Titans S&C coaches did him a disservice trying to get him to add mass.

CJ was pretty much a board consensus pick if I remember correctly.
