If its top top tier its right next to it. Green being deceptively fast also falls into the same vein as tate. Not a burner but one little fake and he has a step on the cb with them seldom recovering. For comparison's sake, Green ran the 40 in 4.49. Tate ran it in 4.53. Not even barely a cunt hair's difference in official times and many people thought Tate ran it poorly in both attempts, surprised the time wasn't higher. You can tell he has separation speed when you watch his film and that his 40 is not a true indication of his game speed. He wasn’t super skinny but it’s clear he needed to gain a little weight. Callidus

While I am very bullish on him I am not do or die on this. My defense of him stems more from I think he should be in the conversation as a top 5 pick and likely is gone by 7 or 8 at the lowest. Would he go 4 if nabors, rome and mhj were in this draft? No he wouldn't. But I do think he is arguably better than rome and he went 9 in a much better class overall. I said at the time i cant even rank him because of how insane that offense was but if he was as good as the tape he was going to be great. Would that make him higher than green? Probably. I don't think Nabers has enough of a body of work yet to put him higher than Green for me. He might get there eventually. I do think if they were in a draft today as prospects Nabers would go higher because he fits the modern NFL game better. I feel like Green, as good he was, was part of the era when #1 WR were perceived to only be 6'3-6'5 who played X receiver. I don't think Nabers at 6'0 200 lb gets drafted in the top 10 if this was 20 years ago. But the game has changed where it's more about space and smaller WR are more accepted now. Before you had to be Fitzgerald, Green, Andre Johnson, etc to be a WR in the top 10. Pragidealist

I think Tate has better agility and YAC ability than Mike Williams. I honestly forgot about SC Mike Williams lol. He was pretty irrelevant in the NFL. Lantern
I remember the Corey Davis reach. Most of you don't. That pick set us back. He was taken above his pay grade. You guys would have us draft a WR because you are so thirsty for WR. Popular Post TeamRamrod
I can't believe how many of you guys are writing off Latham as a complete dud already lol. He's had to switch sides TWICE. Had a hip injury. That he played through clearly when he wasnt ready. Had his coach and offensive line coach leave mid season. Had really good flashes. Just turned 23 in February lol DecepticonShawn2, ChemEngr79, Justafan, and 3 others

Now if you're talking some WR drafted in 1967 then sure only...40% of this forum would remember.
