This is a pretty good trade value-wise given that it is just a 10 game rental for the Rams or thereabouts, imo

Better value than the Brownlee trade for sure.

If we were going to trade McCreary, this is probably as much as can be expected in return  Whether McCreary should have been traded at all is another question.

@ctmthe Titans did not acquire the Jets 6th round pick as part of the Brownlee trade the Jets had already traded that pick away to the Jags.   The Titans acquired the Ravens 6th round pick a

Jon Robinson drafted 23 players from 2020-2022. Chig Okonkwo is the lone player that remains. Just in case people need a reminder why this team is in the shape it is in

if the team struggles now and misses the playoffs this could look bad

Also the players with the most value were drafted by Robinson!

Nuts, but it makes it a lock we get the top pick.  Trading him and Brownlee make no sense but these moves put the heat on Borganzi.  I like that he is showing conviction that this is not the type of DB he wants down the road.

There is a big difference in our 6th round picks.  The Titans and Jets picks are at the top of the round.  The former rams pick (Ernest Jones trade) will be at the bottom of the 6th.  Surely we aren't  trading away one of the titans or jets picks for a bottom of the 5th.

The condition sounded like whatever our last 6th would be so correct. We would be jumping up like 70 spots depending on how many 5th round comp picks there are. Still kinds lame we couldn't get a stright up 5th for a solid starter.

@TerryBoats get in here quick and educate us all on how Robinson shares zero blame for the current state of the team!

??? They've had two GMs since he was fired, each of whom have brought in their own guys.  The players composing one of the worst teams we've all ever had the misfortune of watching aren't his.

McCreary is like the 10th starter from 2022 who is going to be starting elsewhere, and nearly every single replacement has been a downgrade.  You're blaming Robinson for failing to tee up great, obvious players for his successors to sign and to carry their sorry asses.  They had some players to work with, replaced them with crap, and then added crap on top of that.

Nickel CB are available and easier to replace than one would think.

They can also use to pick to move up in another round or to acquire a vet player that can help them.

Any chance we see Winston slide into this role eventually?
