I’ve always thought Zac Taylor was one of the worst coaches in the league and that he coasted off of QB play. I was more than willing to give BC the benefit of the doubt given he’s his own person. Still, it’s insane to me that Zac Taylor is still there. The people that complain incessantly about AAS have no idea how good we have it when so many owners have such an insane level of indifference towards their club that allows guys like Zac Taylor to end up becoming one of the longer tenured coaches in the league.

No shields left for Brinker now he is next the firing line if things don't improve rapidly over the next 12 months.

I don't think Brinker is in near as much danger as some of you do.

That and when they stripped him of playcalling duties they were clearly anticipating firing him.

That Kuharsky tweet is kind of dumb .

Trying to save face after getting scooped.

Much like with Callahan results will determine Brinker's fate.

Ultimately yes, that goes for every coach, GM, President, etc. But there's no way he's on a 12 month timetable. Carthon headed up the Callahan hire, so if you want to use that as part of a case for firing people the guy most responsible was already fired. Besides that by all accounts Callahan was unanimously loved as a HC candidate by everyone, and even though hindsight is 20/20 the hire was pretty widely seen as a good hire by the football world.

Early returns on Borgonzi look pretty good, and Brinker deserves the bulk of the credit for that hire.

They still need to win, but Brinker is not looking over his shoulder.

I think if Strunk is the leading decision maker, he'd be the choice. She's known to be a fan of him and Schwartz both. The last time the team was good, both those guys were here.

If Borgonzi or Brinker are the lead decision makers, it would lean toward someone else.

However, Brinker/Borgonzi need to consider that in order to create organizational stability with this owner, the owner should be fully bought in so she doesn't just fire them in 3 years.

Several of Arthur Smith's favored coaches are already on staff, and from what I gather - the OC choice for BOTH Nagy AND Smith would likely be Dave Ragone. Ragone's OL guy is Munchak (worked with Ragone / Rams as a consultant in recent years)

And if the staff is fired in Cleveland, Schwartz could be available for DC under either of those guys.

Don’t make me wet now. Smith with Schwartz as DC and Munchak for OL would be a dream.

Arthur got screwed in Atlanta
