Popular Post Jamalisms
Okay, I just read the thread and caught up. I don't think it's a coincidence, at all, that this happens after the game that AJ torched us. It's clear what they think about that trade now. I also agree with the people noting that Vrabel's comments before the trade and his reaction after the trade have always been indicative of his own opinion ... and then this does shed a new perspective on the crossroads comment, that Ohio State story and on Vrabel's comments about "who are we going to throw the ball to?" It seems clear a power struggle occurred and the Ohio State story and AJ Brown smoking us have to be the reason it's happening now. Throw in the idea that a different GM can jump into the draft process and moving on now starts to make some sense. I'm still kind of shocked. I think Jon Robinson did a lot of good things for this team and a case was starting to be made against him but it's really hard, in most cases, for teams to move on from this level of success. I noted just the other day that the next step after 2019 and 2020 was a step back and that's because of team talent. I mean ... the signs were there but it still seems a very gutsy move. AAS is nothing if not ballsy. So far, many of her decisions have moved us forward. Hopefully this one does as well. Honestly? I salute the hell out of Jon Robinson as he exits. I was hesitant when he was hired because I didn't like the process and I can see that the results didn't continue moving forward, so I understand why they might look at moving on, but he was critical in turning this franchise into a competitor. Again, I salute him. Crazy day. Aramis, tgo, IsntLifeFunny, and 14 others 16
charleytolar
Two of our OL from last season are starting for the Bills. Is Dennis Kelly still starting for the Packers? japan, DCTitan, SleepingTitan, and 1 other 3

This season has been rough, but JRob gave Vrabel a championship caliber offense last year and Vrabel and co shit their pants. The OL, WR depth, TE group, etc.. all sucked last year too. The roster has massive holes. DecepticonShawn2, Thrill, Mythos27, and 1 other 2 1

IowaOiler
I will say that this move gives me hope that if Vrabel continues being a fucking retard on offense, Amy won't give two shits about his contract extension. Maybe we don't have to wait at least 3 years for him to go back to coaching mediocre defenses for shitty HCs. Bluth

He was tired of Adams being as dumb as Jrobbed. Drafting running QBs all the fucking time. Wrong. Fisher was the de facto GM. He helped interview Reinfieldt ffs. I too wonder if the crossroads comment from the other day forced a binary choice here. too be honest if you had to choose between jrob and vrabel, its really hard to argue in favor of jrob. You could argue the the guy hasn't had a good draft outside of 2016 and 2019. rns90, and AvgJoe

The team has been slowly regressing since the 2019 season. That was the peak. Not predicting it will happen, but the team could easily regress further next year with the team being over the cap, players being cut as a result, needing to find a LT, etc. If the team is going to take another step back, it needs to happen now. The team needs to be on the upswing again by 2026 when the new stadium opens. Jamalisms, DCTitan, and rns90

FreakofLegend
Maybe the new Interim GM can sign Ereck flowers instead of playing the smallest guard in the nfl and try and find a tackle that's not as bad a Sieve when he had to face watt. I'm shocked but we will see what happens. SleepingTitan, and Mythos27
