Popular Post OILERMAN
If this was already posted then oops https://mainstreetmediatn.com/articles/injuries/amy-adams-strunk-likely-behind-stripping-brian-callahan-of-his-play-calling/ A league source indicated Tuesday to TitanInsider.com that Tennessee Titans controlling owner Amy Adams Strunk was likely the impetus behind stripping the play-calling duties away from head coach Brian Callahan three weeks before he was fired. Adams Strunk’s fingerprints were also all over the way Callahan was fired on Monday, as in a conference call with Brinker and Borgonzi, she apparently indicated her desire to move on from Callahan to them, and dispatched them to break the news to the coach that he was being fired six weeks into the season. japan, SleepingTitan, Justafan, and 3 others 2 1 1 1
Popular Post OILERMAN
Why hire Brinker and give him total control over football decisions if you're going to meddle and make decisions like this. She's just like her dad if this story is true and there is little hope to fixing things. This also makes it likely she got emotional after the Eagles game, where AJ Brown went off and fired Robinson mid season Tex in a Can, IrishTitansFan, tgo, and 10 others
japan
Sounds like she didn’t turn over football decisions to Brinker Borgo… Bongo59, and OILERMAN

Popular Post Bulluck4dmvp
I’m indifferent on Amy but between it being McCormick and the “was likely” language, this seems a bit shaky. airmcnair22
I don’t mind her being behind the decision to fire Callahan, but taking away play calling from the head coach? You HAVE to let football people make football decisions. SMH japan, OILERMAN, IsntLifeFunny, and 1 other

How about Albert Breer? He says Amy acting "alone". "Amy doesn't like being embarrassed". "She fires Jon Robinson two days after they play AJ Brown" is not a coincidence. titansfan
As we said then, that was when he was actually fired. And it wasn't undeserved
titansfan
Also I dont think she made this decision rouge. The option for firing Callahan has been on the table since January. I think the organization probably were all of the opinion that Callahan was underperforming and not showing improvement but for the sake of stability wanted to avoid firing him Mid-season. Its just always going to be messy no matter how you spin it. I think Amy simply said lets go ahead and do it if we already know thats what we're going to do. It doesn't help that Ward and Simmons basically called out the coach in coded language. CreepingDeath, Thrill, and DCTitan
titansfan
I think this is a case of "you got to know your owner". Amy doesn't like to wait if she knows she's going to eventually do something

Always cute when you misconstrue things. Let me help you Mandating they move on from Callahan is okay Mandating they strip Callahan of play calling duties is not okay Carry on being useless and adding no value to the football discussion here. oldschool
I find it extremely suspect without more sourcing she actually mandated he give up playcalling. If that's true, not a good look for the team. Thrill, Callidus, and DCTitan
