Interesting that on the same day we hear about the Cowboys being willing to move up ahead of the Giants to pick someone both teams covet (presumably Styles), there's this report of Styles being in play at 4

"a player the Giants also covet".....I'm guessing that Styles?

What we have to remember with Wyatt is that he chooses which questions he answers and shares online which makes it interesting. I found this answer the most interesting from Wyatt’s mailbag: Question: Hey Jim. We've done fairly well in free agency, no home runs, but a triple and some doubles. Defense definitely got better. Wan'Dale Robinson is a plus, but the offense needs more weapons. I think Jeremiyah Love has probably moved up the list to #1 on our board, though Fano, out of Utah, would be a great addition to the offensive line. I would go with Love and if by some miracle Fano is still available in round 2, nab him. Do you think Love is the right choice? Does the offensive line need more help? Do we go for the best player no matter the position? An exciting time as I see the team finally moving in a positive direction. Answer: Hey Rick. I haven't hid the fact I like Love, but the GM and scouts know more than I do. I'm not going to come straight out and say he's the right choice, because I know there are no guarantees in the NFL Draft. While I think Love is going to be a stud, maybe Mike Borgonzi & Co. have their sights set on another guy who they think will make a bigger, longer lasting impact. So, we'll have to see what the real decision-makers decide, not the guy who does the mailbag. As for the offensive line, it definitely needs more help. I think Austin Schlotmann could end up being the starter at center, but he's going to have to earn it, and he's going to have competition

Let me start off by saying, I’d want us to draft Love That being said, there are current question marks at Center and RG, but I hope they’re solved by either bringing back Zeitler and/or the draft. Because going into the season with what we currently have at those 2 positions would be horrible.

No I agree that EDGE is more valuable than CB. I’m just saying that I think they could’ve possibly signed one of the top EDGE rushers, the top C, or top off ball LB on the money they used on one of the CBs they signed. My point because CB is deep I wish they would’ve addressed that need in the draft and spent the free agency money on another position

I kind of wish we would've just signed one CB in free agency (Slott or Taylor), then used that money on an EDGE, off ball LB in free agency, or Linderbaum and then just drafted Delane at 4. My reasoning, if he's good enough to be drafted in the the top 10, he's good enough to be drafted at 4 IMO

From Wyatt’s mailbag today: Rick Davidson from Lone Oak, Kentucky Question: Everyone seems to be focused on our first-round pick, which is normal. However, teams are built in the later rounds. How do you see the Titans moving in the later rounds, offense, defense, or best available? Jim: Hey Rick. I think, for the most part, best available is the way the team will go. The Titans still have plenty of needs on each side of the football, and the best way to get better is to get the best guys, no matter the position. Of course needs are important, and the team won't waste picks if they're good at certain position. For example, the Titans won't take a QB if he's best available at the time. But the GM has said they'll go "best available" and I think that means throughout the draft.

They also need someone to start beside big Jeff on early downs if the plan is to have JFM on the EDGE. Unless the plan to play Elliot/Thomas inside during those early downs.

If he’s still there lol. That’s one of the things that makes me nervous about taking Love at 4. I feel like then you have to take an EDGE at 35 but there’s no guarantees that one that you like will be there.

What would be interesting is if Bailey is gone, and there are no viable trade down options. Would they just draft Love, or take Bain? I’d hope for Love in that scenario

But if you’re trying to get one of the top EDGES in this draft, i.e. Bailey, he’s probably not making it to 6. I think the Titans are trying to convince folks they love Love so no one trades up for Bailey.
