The biggest bright spot last night was Sweat's play.    6 tackles, 2 more loss and constantly disrupting the Miami blocking schemes. He did this without Simmons as well. He played 78% of the

Titans HAD to upgrade their Dline. Newton, Fiske, and Jenkins were all guys who played the same role as Simmons. I like those guys but I've told people all offseason that the Titans weren't going to d

As long as they can keep Sweat away from Davenport he's got a chance!

The alcohol limit is 0.10% most places.  Sweat blew 0.105%.  That's not drunk.  Registering that low doesn't suggest he's an alcoholic.

The amount of alcohol to get a man of that size even to that level suggests he had plenty of time to consider the repercussions

Though Dak Prescott did the same thing, and he's had no issues since then

It definitely takes more, but the 0.10% is the limit that impairs the driver.

It's not so much whether he's an alcoholic or not. It's just a question of his judgement. The fact that he ate his way to almost 400 lbs is also a red flag on his judgement. We don't know these guys so we're looking for warning signs of things to come. He's got a couple. We'll see how it plays out but if he ends up being a locker room problem, no one here can act like it came out of nowhere.

I'm sure, in my younger days, I've woke up and would have blown more than that after 6-8 hours of sleep.

Not what I'm saying. I'm saying he likely has to fight to keep that much weight on. Most people that are that big usually get that way over a longer period of time by eating terrible and living a sedimentary life (or some health issue). Texas likely wanted him that size and he likely had to eat like crazy to stay there.

Doubt that seriously. I can't think of any reason they wanted him at almost 400 pounds then listed him at 5

40 pounds less.

I'm excited for him and have less concerns with his ability to transition pro than with Latham (who I'm leaving in the hands of Billy C).

When it comes to the extracurriculars, that's just something that you'll have to trust with the evaluators and the people in charge, but man his attributes at that size are so rare.

Sweat and Simmons eating up space on the interior dominating against the run and collapsing the pocket and getting after the QB on drop back sets is a mouth watering prospect.

So if he played at almost 400 lbs, he was down 30-35lbs at the combine roughly 2 months after the season. It's just hard for me to believe that someone who started his career at 250 gains almost 150lbs in 5 years without trying to.

Was just coming to post this. Maybe the Rams knew Fiske wouldn’t even be on our radar and didn’t make that offer. I could also see Green Bay being a team that would like Sweat as a player.

He then refused to weigh in at the senior bowl who everyone talking about this pick has never heard of. The dude has a weight problem. People are not just making this shit up to dislike the pick.

Edit: can he lose the weight? Absolutely, I don't doubt for a second he will be playing weight by day one. I don't trust him at the moment to keep it there though.

Does that mean he won't? No. But there are legitimate concerns here.
