We would be right there for the wildcard at 6-7 in a weak conference. The Colts are in it at 7-6. Honestly, reverse any of the close losses they had (NO, both IND games, the PIT one) and they are in the WC picture in a really weak year for the NFL. It's just totally frustrating that they didn't build the OL better . Hopkins deserves better as well. nine, IsntLifeFunny, BudsOilers, and 3 others

You don't tank for a fucking tackle I also want Vrabel fired but unfortunately he’s not going to. Popular Post IsntLifeFunny
The fact Vrabel ran 3 times straight with 3 TOs and 2 minutes left in the half was one of the worst showings by a coach I've ever seen. They literally handed the ball back to the Dolphins without attempting to score points. To then turn around and throw the ball down the field with 28 seconds left was honestly bizarre and shows a problem in the overall philosophy. It feels completely reactionary. Vrabel is trying to micromanage the game to a degree I don't think even Belichick would try. That's his problem and he was lucky to get bailed out by Levis going God mode the last 5 minutes. rns90
Someone actually pointed out another incredible part about the comeback. They score two td's in a span of 53 seconds. Meanwhile they take forever on other drives and settle for FGs. 1 minute ago, IsntLifeFunny said: The fact Vrabel ran 3 times straight with 3 TOs and 2 minutes left in the half was one of the worst showings by a coach I've ever seen. That part was weird to me. I just assumed that he deferred to Kelly on that second drive because I fully expected a run or two or a kneel down. I have no idea how you can just try to run off the clock on that one drive and then do the opposite with 28 secs and in a worse situation. The one to Hopkins before the half (not the bomb which was also a good throw) while he was getting hit was pure arm talent. The one to Spears where he fumbled was insane accuracy over 2 defenders and infront of the safety to a 5'9 RB. The dropped TD to NWI was excellent ball placement and elite release. Then he proceeded to dominate the last 2 drives. That was one hell of a game by the rookie. Bluth, heyitsmeallen, ChemEngr79, and 3 others

Franchise will be stuck with garbage results until he’s gone Did you see a garbage result tonight? Outside of a dumb, and lucky on Miami's part interception, and a stupid ass play by Garror, the Titans were crushing Miami despite the refs obviously not in their favor. What more do you want? Vrabel hasn't lost this team. Even the announcers and Miami fans packed it in. Miami fans literally left because they were up so much. The team didn't quit. 4-8 down two scores. Defense didn't quit after being on the field for like 3 series with only a couple mins rest. IsntLifeFunny, DCTitan, Number9, and 2 others

Miami was getting the ball at the start of the 3rd quarter. A quick 3 and out leaving them with all their TOs and a lot of time is a recipe for them to score twice and put the game out of reach. Just about every coach who has the ball in negative territory in that situation is going to implement a similar strategy of trying to get the first first down with some runs and then go to the hurry up. Had they not gotten the holding penalty, I guarantee they would have picked up the pace and aired it out. titanruss, SleepingTitan, IsntLifeFunny, and 1 other 2

Hopefully he sees the advantage of being more aggressive in the future. I don't expect that immediately, because even in his post game presser he kinda reluctantly said "it didn't have to be that way." Which, to his credit, it didn't. rns90
