RIP Fanboys. I know it’s been miserable being wrong at every turn the past 3+ years. But @OILERMAN @BudsOilers and @oldschool you can rest easy now. Imagine thinking we've been wrong about anything.....and if Vrabel doesn't pull his head out of his ass about conflicted play calling and play a LT who can actually pass block, you won't see any difference than what the offense has looked like to date. In fact the ATL game looked like the LAC and CIN games and the PIT game looked like the road losses..... reo, big2033, LongTimeFan, and 2 others

I know, I just need him to say it so I can point out fanboy hypocrisy when they: 1) knock Vrabel for not having better talent on the oline (aka fixing the OL) when adding personnel is the GMs job 2) ovoid giving him credit for making a plainly obvious choice at starting QB, when naming starters is part of a HC job description titanruss, VondyP, big2033, and 1 other 3
Pragidealist
Is there any public announcement from Vrabel? I'm just wondering if he managed to state that without saying anything positive about Levis. He's been impressive in his ability to dodge saying anything remotely good about the rookie (for whatever reason). BudsOilers
The inference is that Vrabel didn't want to do it and was forced to. I'm not sure that's fair or accurate. luvyablue256, titanskick8851, and SleepingTitan 1

Vrabel was pretty set on Tannehill being the starter when healthy. I was fully expecting Levis to start this week but only with the same song and dance Vrabel had given the last two weeks about things pending on RT’s health. I wonder if the charade just got old as the media pressure/criticism of that method was starting to be too much or whether he legitimately wanted to go back to Tannehill ASAP but maybe had some conversations with Ran and/or Amy. Just a surprisingly big pivot from where he’s been the last two weeks, with a healthier than ever Tannehill and Levis coming back to earth a bit on a loss. There were rumors that not all the staff was on board w/ drafting Levis. It could very easily be that Vrabel never wanted to draft a QB at all but Ran wanted one and tried to go get one. Then everyone was gone, Vrabel talked them into Skoronski. Then once Levis fell, Ran went up in the 2nd to get him. Once we got into camp, Vrabel stuck him behind Tannehill and Willis b/c he never wanted him to begin w/.. until his hand was forced. All complete conjecture of course but if true, I think Vrabel is gone at the end of the year. In his comments about Levis, Vrabel has been pretty damn accurate in what's he's said publicly. The fan base is giddy because they wanted anyone but Tannehill but anything less than fawning over him is seen as hate. You and I finally agree on something. Vrabel has no buisiness praising Levis for anything. He just needs to make sure he does everything to ensure he developes....all he has shown is promise, but he could still bomb out. Its only been 2 games. You're defense of meathead is hilarious. VondyP

In Skronksi, Radunz as options as LT. Also, you are fooling yourself if you don't think that Vrabel had a HUGE role in signing Dillard.
