This afternoon I was in the French Quarter having tea with Leonard Fournette and Tyrann Mathieu.  One thing they both mentioned is people like to make things up.

I have a hard time believing that Bud Adams’ daughter would meddle in personnel decisions…

Who knows if there was a trade lined up for sure.. but as we said for a while - OF COURSE  she would do that.

Losing him for 11 games without a reason to come to games... and not seeing that legend wear an Oilers uni... was never going to happen.

Now he's a necessity to run our offense.

Let's assume, for argument's sake, the compensation was a late 4th and saving 5-6 million dollars..AAS might have made the decision for future ticket sales, to keep the fans engaged and dignify what Henry did for the franchise..and I guess we'll see what happens in the off season..

I don't buy that report for a second.....the reality is that no team is going to give up a day 1 or day 2 pick for 29 y/o RB slated to be a FA.  And the Titans aren't going to give him away for a day 3 pick when he's arguably their most popular player.  Much easier to part ways come next offseason when HE opts to sign somewhere else.
