No matter how you want to put it, in retrospect, it was a mistake. A huge mistake. Vrabel was right and he is still the best coach this organization has ever had. Losing him because he wanted more control was way dumber than hiring Ran/Brinker/Callahan was smart! You can try to paint the narrative that Vrabel deserved to fired, but everything is proving that was a pretty stupid move. There is no way you can say Vrabel didn’t deserve more control but Ran did!
