My take from today is Cam was impressive and much better than his stat line, both Callahan’s aren’t living up to the hype, and the defense played pretty good until it didn’t.

Even so. You don't put even good blocking TEs in that position unless they're special blockers.

First half on a convertible 3rd and ten he runs the draw. On third and forever he does a deep drop with the OL crumbling. Cam has to throw the ball but this has been a shit show in terms of situational play calling.

Losing to a better team and they have a rookie QB but they certainly haven’t made things easy for themselves or capitalized on golden opportunities.

Bad down by the defense but when you carry the offense all day and the offense does nothing, it's the perfect recipe for a bad down or two to lose you the game ... when the problem is really the other side of the ball.

 

This sort of thing can snowball.

There was 2 games the year before last that had some wild stat lines worse than that. I think the jets lost a game with +3 or +4 turnovers and outgained the other team by like 250 yards.
