Just cut Woods and use that cap for Davis. With Wilson and Moore, NYJ doesn't need him. CD stretches the field, makes contested catches, and blocks (!!!) way better than anyone on our roster. Burks, CD, and a good WR3 (Phillips??) actually has a chance to be a plus WR room if Burks can develop. I would love to bring back Davis. We should have done that any damn way instead of bringing in old man Jones. Mythos27, titanskick8851, pamo9, and 1 other

It was a power struggle between Reese and Fish and Fish won hands down. Floyd got fired and Fish got control of all player and personnel decisions and got elevated to VP. (which ultimately was his downfall imho.) Edited December 6, 2022 by freakingeek Smokes, Lars, and SleepingTitan
titansfan
Like even not re-signing Corey Davis was terrible decision because all it led to was trading a valuable 2nd round pick for a injury riddled Julio Jones. The trend was there, and AAS said enough after seeing it blow up in our faces directly on Sunday. flaming_thumbtack

I say no. I wonder if Brown had a more quiet day if it would have impacted things. It's obvious to draw a connection between AJB and the firing, but it would be kinda crazy if one WR's performance actually impacted things that much. They keep Brown, draft Tyron Smith, and the offense is clearly better this year. Jrob created a hole where one didn't need to exist. You don't think Brown was texting his teammates about the low ball offer he got. You don't think other players are wondering if they will also get shipped out of town for wanting market value? The problem Jrob has is that he wanted to build New England South but he doesn't have the bonafides to do that. You are a first time GM who hasn't won shit. One kind of wonders if the "New England Way" of just shipping everyone out and not paying your stars top dollar is workable in today's world. It could be that it was going the same direction with Simmons. flaming_thumbtack, Mythos27, IsntLifeFunny, and 4 others

I like Fisher as a HC but was mad when that went down because I knew it would be his downfall. freakingeek
Blackjack
What if the reason Derrick Henry is slammed into the backs of his OL game after game is because that's how JRob wanted it to be done. What if Vrabel was just doing it to show AAS that it doesn't work. We can only hope! TheBukafax

And the weird thing is Belichick's been worse than Robinson as a GM. He had Tom Brady but I wonder if Bob Kraft saw what happened today and thought maybe it's time he does the same? rns90
I mean watching them get destroyed against good teams while having piss poor units at WR, OL and at times CB is an indictment on JR. Guess what he has spent most of their resources on the past 2-3 years? Mythos27, C_Train, and oldschool 2
AvgJoe
This is probably a pretty fair assessment: titanskick8851, and ChesterCopperpot1
Popular Post tgo
Btw - Really glad they finally ran JRob out of town. Never liked that guy anyway, was holding the team back. It’s easier to get away with that stuff when you have the GOAT in his prime at QB making up for other personnel sins. charleytolar
kgsTitan
All this second guessing about Julio. Everyone here was busting a nut when we got him. I, myself, ran to a casino to bet on winning the AFC just based on the rumors of his imminent signing. A healthy Julio and AJB was fantastic on paper at the time. I fault JRob on numerous failings (especially Wilson and Farley), but on Julio, he gets a pass from me.
