My preferences were Bailey->Tate->Love->Styles. I never thought Tate was an option so I was really surprised when it happened. Funny how things don't leak when your head coach isn't boinking

We are going into the next several years with QB, WR1, and EDGE under rookie contracts.   While Love would have been great, Tate brings a ton of value. For example, even with the huge pay cu

From a developmental stand point, I really don't see as big a difference in Faulk and Reese as others might. Faulk has crazy potential and the way he was used leads me to believe he can be developed.

The Tate pick showed that Borgonzi was well aware of the draft board. There was a big run on WR towards the back end. Boston maybe would have been there...I like Tate and Faulk better than Reese and Boston.

I like the fact that they are committed to getting Cam some weapons on offense. IMO Love would have been the pick if he had made it to 4. The fact that they stayed the course and took the second best option instead of pivoting to the highly rated pass rusher on defense solidifies that commitment.

The Titans played the Love thing as perfect as they could have, there was unfortunately no way to control the Cardinals being morons and deciding in the last week of the process to do what they did. Frustrating to keep missing on our top targets in these first rounds by a pick or 2, seems to happen to us often. I think Tate will be fine though. Not a superstar, but fine.

How do you know love was the top target?

I'm already getting tired of the argument on both sides (that isn't at you). We simply don't and won't ever know who the target was. Easily could have been Bailey/Love/Tate or Bailey/Tate. What we know for sure is Tate was above Reese and Styles.

There's arguments for both sides, I guess, but the pick is the pick, and Wyatt did say a couple weeks back that while the Titans think Love is tremendous that they might want a pick with more staying power...so once again smoke all around and we'll never know.

All that matters is, for me, that I'm a nerd who watched the cutups a second time and am thrilled he's a Titan. He's exactly the kind of timing WR Cam needs, and his ability to run the jail break is going to be huge for the offense.

Dabs will 100% do this

Extra bonus in this video is for the commentary. "And he misses him because he's fat."

Which is fair. I also agree with 9s that if you have a WR rated as a top player it makes it ridiculously unlikely you would take a RB even if his tape was better. We still don't know, and it doesn't really matter either way in my opinion, but I'm okay with the logic of saying if they see Tate as a top 10 WR then yeah he was likely the choice regardless of Love. Would have been really fucking interesting if the Cardinals had of traded the pick for Reese though lol.
