Stefanski makes too much sense.  
 

Good offensive mind.  Proven success with historically bad teams.  Super easy sell to everyone who thinks Cam can be the guy.  But also, immediately band-aids the bad image we have, agree with it or not, from the stigma of a “bad team firing a great coach” in Vrabel.  
 

Right hire or not, the league media is salivating to gold-star whoever hires him.  Outside of Xs and Os, which also align, the optics can’t be ignored.  Amy would go from maligned and “short sighted” to savvy overnight.  The Titans would be elevated from the garbage bin to help pouring it onto the next sucker who takes the Browns job - because the league always has to have a laughing stock.  Should that be a factor in why we hire him?  Absolutely not.  Not at all.  But, it’s not a detriment.   He checks almost every box we are looking for from experience, league connections, and the lesser talked about PR overnight makeover.  
 

I would be surprised if he’s not the front-runner.

If they are dead set on a HC with experience then Stefanski is the clear best choice. 

 

The bigger issues are getting a competent front office(which they seem to have) and Ward becoming a franchise QB. Both of those are more important than the HC.

That will be the other side of the interview, Stefanski knows first hand what a screwed up front office looks like.

To further elaborate on my post last night. Stefanski actually coming available likely has flipped our search. To do what he did in Cleveland while dealing with idiots in Haslam and Berry is outstanding and he can field a really good staff. 
 

Schwartz has a strong relationship with AAS. Don’t think for a second he hasn’t briefed Stefanski that she is nowhere near the issue the media likes to portray. On top of that, he also gets to come to a place where the QB is set and good.
