I guess Mike McDaniel isn't very smart, cause he fired Fangio.

They mutaully parted ways. Fangio wanted out too. Reports were that he did not gel well with the staff and players. Fangio doesn't strike me as a retired in Florida kinda old guy like Bruce Arians. 

 

I think McDaniel is a great offensive mind, but an average leader and HC. Hence him being on the hot seat. I'd love for him to get fired and partner with Saleh.

Or Fangio wanted to stay in Chicago because he knew he built a top defense in the NFL and he wanted to Parlay that into a HC gig.

Well, sure, and luckily Nagy didn't have the hubris to come in and say he wanted everything his way and wanted his own guy, like so many HCs are inclined to do.

My top choice is Anthony Weaver, but I don't think he loves us back. 

 

I really like Saleh and Stefanski also. Really intrigued by Burke and Campanile as potential fits. 

 

I don't quite get the hype with Shula and Minter, but they're respected and a lot of people like them. They're def great coordinators.

Given Weaver's ties to both McKenzie & Ziegler (and that Borgo leans on them for advice) I'm hoping that Weaver will be invited to interview.
