They've been researching and preparing for months now of course, the interview stage is just the final piece of the puzzle. 

Yet, you have said more than once before interviews even start that Nagy will be Borgonzi's choice.  That implies he's made up his mind.

I haven’t seen any confirmation or even report on McCarthy. Easton’s article as the source points to other insiders saying he will be a candidate last week lol

I get it, but when you really think about it - that's kind of a weird rationale right? 

 

Like, if you're Borgonzi you see up close all the success he's had with Mahomes, then turning Trubisky of all people into a winning QB, you see him work up close successfully for years, and then you're like "Nah, I'm not going to hire that guy because I know him too well"? Wouldn't that make him kind of an idiot? 

 

Out of all the retreads I've seen as options, the only ones with winning records overall are Nagy and McCarthy. 

 

Saleh, Stefanski, Spagnuolo, Kingsbury have losing records. Obviously different circumstances and this that and the other though.

Nah, there are actually a bunch of reasons beyond just him knowing him that fans just can't seem to accept for whatever reason.

 

Maybe because he has a weird name or is bald or something, I'm not quite sure.
