I believe Cam Ward will be a top level franchise/elite QB

I'm not a big bible reader but fucking Moses parting the Red Sea is the closest analogy to what happened for the Titans on the last day of the season.

People are still underestimating Levis and Ran.  When those stars get that close to one another it becomes a black hole.

I don't follow college much and don't pay attention to the prospects until close to the draft.    Early on I fell in line with the talk of it being a terrible draft class for QBs. Terrible y

The Giants offered a haul and the Titans quit even listening. The NFL decision makers know.   I also think it's pretty funny it actually took a few miracles for the Titans to fall into the #

Mahomes played at Texas Tech. Allen played at Wyoming. Level of competition isn't as important as traits that translate to the pro game.

The other “miracle” was the Giants beating the Colts.  I perused a Giants board.  And it seemed like once every few days some poster would get totally pissed that they won that Colts game .

It was quite funny.

Drew Lock had the game of his life and of course it was against the fucking Colts ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

I think they might be the biggest  loser. That loss kept them out of the playoffs.  The win by the Giants inadvertently gifted the qb to the division rival that might own them for years while they languish in QB purgatory.

So yeah , that pretty much beats whatever the Pats and Giants lost.

Man if we picked outside the top 3 we would've been in bad shape in this draft.

He doesn't need me to but I'll back him this time.  He was pretty early on Ward. Not Miami fan early- but pretty early. Like many- once they started looking at him and not listening to pundits saying this was a bad qb draft --  the usual cynical group (Oman, oldshool, etc) all got surprisingly behind Cam.  This has been the most aligned the board has been around a QB prospect I've ever seen tbh.

In fact- I think this is the first time I can remember that Starkiller, oldschool, Oman, Reo and Nines all agree on something besides politics.

He was carter or trade back just like 3 weeks ago... though i admit its been aligned since about then.

But I will say... I don't think Restrepo is the scrub you say he is. If he's a tomato can, he might be a 24k gold tamato can.

I watched Cam's film.  Restrepo looked like a very good receiver because he kept catching passes.  I was shocked he was a 6th round value.  To see him go un-drafted after catching all those balls says a lot about who was throwing the ball?

I wanted Cam after I watched a full game film, but I kept looking for Reasons/Faults.  Why was he better than Dart?  Dart had the 3rd best receivers in the NCAA.  Shedeur 7th best.  Miami 9th.  OK.  The WR production said he had a Top WR group.

The draft.  Who's WRs got drafted.  Ole Miss 2.  Colorado 3*   Miami 0.  WTF?

Every comparison I checked Cam was more the reason for the success of his surrounding talent than SS or Dart.

I was just looking at the hurricanes all time reception leader list and a few things when diving deeper popped out to me.

Restrepo is first in catches and yards, that I already had heard somewhere.

His yards per game is up there with most of the names you would know santana moss at 60.6 ypg, wayne and restrepo at 55.8, andre johnson at 53.5. The outlier is Michael Irvin at 73ypg.

He is also the only guy with 2 1000 yard seasons.

His production was fairly nonexistent till the last two years which is normaly not a good sign for wrs though. With almost 2100 of his 2400 yards coming in the last 2 years out of 5.

He caught alot(about 25%) more passes in 2023 but his ypc and td nunbers went way up with cam.
