oldschool
fans always overreact to this sort of thing. As if players can't have relationships around the league. All he did was like a post on twitter. He didn't reply saying he wants to be a Patriot and that Vrabel should trade for him. I would also add Simmons came up under Vrabel and he probably equates winning and playing in meaningful post season with his tenure.
scine09
I'm sure Simmons would love to be traded. He's probably upset about the Ran firing, misses playing for Vrabel, doesn't like the losing, etc. I wouldn't be surprised if the "like" meant he really wants to go to NE. It's not just her. I think that's pretty typical of any owner. You're not going to approve of your best player being traded to the team coached by the guy you just fired and everyone is ripping you for. You're just not. I don't care if it's Amy Adams Strunk or any other owner.

TerryBoats
Why not get rid of Callahan instead, and bring in a coach who doesn't make our good players want to jump ship? It's odd that nobody is seeing this as an indictment against the current coach, and are fantasizing about a draft pick made by an unknown GM and who will be playing for a fucking terrible coach. Do people want to tank that badly? Edited January 13, 2025 by TerryBoats
Number9
We Conflicted by Ray Charles The board is sad. The biggest sign of a loser is he kicks dirt on those better than him. When was the last time the Titans went to the AFCCG? When was the last time the Titans won the division with Jax, Ind and Tex? When was the last time the Titans had the best record in the AFC? Have the Titans ever had a coach win COY? We are the dummies that criticized the man from the time he hit the door until he left. Nitpicky shit. Day in and day out, we were conflicted. We won a lot of football games. We stayed on TV in marque matchups. And we won most of those games. But we were conflicted-we ain't never had a coach like this? What should we do? Be happy? Or cry that we only won by a point or two? We conflicted. We wanted to win, but we ran hm out the door. We conflicted. We hated him mo', now we back on the floor. But his stubbornness and conservative ways got him fired and if he doesn’t change then the Pats will eventually fire him, too. It seemed like that last season he was finally trying to develop a roster of young upstarts at different coaching positions. He still wanted to be able to control them and most of them sucked but it was the first time I felt like he knew his coaching staff was not going to get it done going forward. The time to capitalize is now.Fleece him. By the time the Titans are in contention again, he’ll be past his prime. I'd trade him for #4.
BudsOilers
4th overall for Simmons would be hard to turn down.....But he's a legit stud player. Can't see NE doing that. KogaShuko

He has to be better at identifying play callers and a massive part of them is letting them work and not interfering too much Yep. It was a steady decline for RT and the Titans offense after Smith left for Atlanta. Vrabel having major say in roster control in NE is evidence he failed to learn anything in Nashville. AussieTitanFan08
Don't expect Vrabel will be able to pry Simmons out of Nashville but I do expect he will try and sign NWI.
