The biggest bright spot last night was Sweat's play.    6 tackles, 2 more loss and constantly disrupting the Miami blocking schemes. He did this without Simmons as well. He played 78% of the

Titans HAD to upgrade their Dline. Newton, Fiske, and Jenkins were all guys who played the same role as Simmons. I like those guys but I've told people all offseason that the Titans weren't going to d

As long as they can keep Sweat away from Davenport he's got a chance!

^confirmed there were trade offers in the 2nd and they didn't feel comfortable moving away from "the pot of players" and that Sweat was worth it.

I feel like in 2 years we will circle this as the moment when Ran fell down. His FA acq is excellent (assuming you agree overpaying a gambling addict at WR is a good idea). Ran's decision making is suspect.

Of course, this hinges on how well Levis performs.

In his defense , the cupboard was totally bare when he came in.  I don't think it's unfair to give him a few years to build the team he wants, even if we question the manner in which he approaches the draft.

You can blame Ran C if Sweat is a bust. According to Callie, it's on Ran to vet the character concerns during the draft (3:14):

I'm always asking whether the Titans scouting department is funded properly and are they as capable as top NFL teams.

Top scouts in the NFL in 2023

Alonzo Highsmith, Green Bay Packers

Bill DeKraker, Dallas Cowboys

Blake Beddingfield, Tennessee Titans

Brian Gardner, Tennessee Titans

Chris Grier, Miami Dolphins

Jim Abrams, Dallas Cowboys

Kyle O'Brien, Jacksonville Jaguars

Mike Martin, Houston Texans

Shaun Herock, Las Vegas Raiders

What I found out was NFL teams don't invest big in scouting.

I'm interested to see whether Sweat is going to be a Tart type run stopping clog or a true 3 down Flectcher Cox type. What's the true ceiling/floor for him

He is too big to be a Fletcher Cox type but if Sweat dropped 20lbs maybe he could become 80% of a Dexter Lawrence.

Not if dude thinks he can find Vita Vea in the 2nd round. That's the type of swing you make when you have everything - not when you need everything.

Lol what? Wendy's is 1000x better than BK garbage.

Wendy’s has decent tasting burgers for a fast food place.  I eat there a few times a month.

I’ve eaten at BK maybe once or twice every few years and always regret it .  Their main draw is that fake char-grilled taste.  But the burgers still taste awful.
