We're going to have some fun debates this spring about if we should draft a sure-fire 1st round LG in O'Cyrus Torrence or reach for an LT that's likely a 2nd round player

One thing for sure, the new GM can't afford a bust.  So I expect a very safe pick.

Vrabel gaining more personnel control is not a good thing - regardless of who the new GM is - I promise you that.

Vrabel's comment "who is he going to throw it to?" about the receivers/Malik is a little more cryptic now.    I loved Jrob, but I love AAS more. She ain't fucking around. Ya love to see it.

They are one of the least talented teams personnel wise on offense comparatively and some of your “pretty good” players are merely OK ones.

Yeah our whole oline is suspect. We can’t just assume NPF is gonna improve we thought the same about Nate Davis after 2020 when he started to look good and he hasn’t made the leap we thought he would. Jones is getting older every day and his pass blocking has fallen off soon his run blocking ability will go too. No LT and we have the smallest LG in the nfl. I honestly feel like everyone on this line is replaceable right now.

The only people on this offense I trust are Tannehill who also isn’t getting any younger and to an extent Burks and Okonkwo.

Any team/coaching staff that cannot develop interior OL unless they're 1st or 2nd round picks is simply incompetent. We've been awful at it for a decade plus, and we used to be one of the best at it. Munchak is unemployed. Fire Carter and bring him back, and the problem is solved.

Much better than expected for the details on the Titans.  The tone is clearly in favor of one side.  Includes much of what has been discussed here.

The article was definitely pro-Robinson.  As an outsider I can certainly see why people would think what they think.  But anyone who's watched this team this year has to see the talent deficiencies on the roster.  Sure, he gets credit for some of the back end guys or the later round draft picks that have hit, as the author noted.  The problem with this team is it's lacking in top end talent.  And when you compare them to the likes of Buffalo, Cincinnati, Kansas City and even the Dolphins and Chargers, the top end talent just isn't there.

Have seen a few of the NFL "insiders" suggest this firing of JRob sent shock waves throughout the NFL and is putting pressure on other owners to move on their GM's who have far worse records than JRob (Keim/Ballard/Telesco have been mentioned).

Also have seen some mention AAS may have trouble attracting some outside GM candidates because of the incredibly high benchmark she has set (potential 7 consecutive winning seasons, 3 straight division titles, 1 AFCCG appearance, one #1 seed, playoffs in 5 of 7 seasons was simply not good enough)

JRob set the bar high. Everybody is excited to get a new guy, but there is a decently good possibility the new GM isn’t going to come here and win the SB next season. The Titans are like all other teams at this point in a run. Last year was the team, then Henry got hurt. Julio didn’t contribute at the level expected.

there are 32 teams in the league and organizations appear to have all kinds of trouble. Murray signed a huge deal and it appears Zona is continuing its down slide. I hope they get a great replacement, but historically GM is a cyclical position.

i don’t know about the Steelers, but they continue to find good players. They won a SB a decade ago, but making the playoffs and winning more than they lose seems to satisfy them. They keep getting the same coach too. It’s kinda like they have a system they believe in and accept they won’t win a SB every few years.

I hope they get the best GM in the league, but it’s not some easy job. Indy looked like a well run team, but they have a continual mess at QB.

Conklin's 13 million ended up going to Clowney (12million).

Saffold's 10 million ended up going to Zach Cunningham.

Its fair to point out that some of our O-Line problems were trying to give Vrabel his defensive guys as opposed to signing our own on the O-Line.
