Where did you hear this?  I know from word of mouth that Vrabel was over Mariota after 2018, but he also stated that he wanted to wait for lewan to return

It was the final straw and it's no coincidence this moves comes as Eagles fans are literally laughing in the faces of Titans ownership. Sunday made what was already a terrible decision and embarrassing realization. 

I think his loss was greatly underestimated on here. He was essentially the perfect offensive component to compliment the running game with his style of play.

 

You are also correct in that it had to be absolutely awful for team morale/esprit d'corps purposes. Trading one of the key pieces off a team that was quite close and doing nothing to really bolster just sends a terrible message to the locker room.

JRob never replaced any of the talent that we lost that made those 2019/2020 teams so great. Reynolds/Julio did not replace Davis. No TE replaced Jonnu. No one replaced the OL talent. No one replaced AJ Brown. Just a series of missteps that resulted in going from one of the best offenses to one of the worst again.

It was reported on back in 2019.  The nut huggers refused to believe it.
