This is the damndest thing....  Trump supporters making fun of Biden's mental status.    Seriously.

MERS killed 866 people worldwide. Again, basic math.   Btw, in an entire year, the flu kills 3,500 - 15,500 in the US. They suspect some cases aren't identified and so they estimate up to 61

One month ago today.

The first confirmed case in the United States was on the West Coast. The spread was faster than governments or hospitals were prepared for. The World Health Organization declared it a pandemic, and the U.S. president eventually declared a national emergency.

Before it was over, the pandemic had hit 60.8 million Americans, hospitalized 274,304, and killed 12,469.

Easter is in 2-3 weeks.  The bodies are going to be hitting the floor.  ~ 43k at the current rate (doubling every 3 days from 534 now).

At this point, bring on the deaths.

Most of them will be Trump voters.

Over the past 24 hours, Donald Trump’s coronavirus journey has gone from telling people the disease is bad and they should stay home to pushing to “open up” the country by Easter, even if it means hundreds of thousands, if not millions, dying as a result. Obviously, some of his about-face can be attributed to caring more about the economy than literal lives, a genetic condition doctors describe as “being a giant asshole.” But on Tuesday evening, a shocking new report from the Washington Post shed some additional light on the president’s thinking: It’s possible Trump is suddenly gung ho about getting people back to work far earlier than public health experts recommend because—and you may want to sit down for this—his own financial situation will suffer otherwise.

It’s crazy, we know! Who could have expected this from a man whose singular quest in life is to enrich himself and who campaigned on the slogan “My whole life I’ve been greedy, greedy, greedy? And yet:

President Trump’s private business has shut down six of its top seven revenue-producing clubs and hotels because of restrictions meant to slow the spread of the novel coronavirus, potentially depriving Trump’s company of millions of dollars in revenue. Those closures come as Trump is considering easing restrictions on movement sooner than federal public health experts recommend, in the name of reducing the virus’s economic damage…. In his unprecedented dual role as president and owner of a sprawling business, Trump is facing dual crises caused by the coronavirus. As he is trying to manage the pandemic from the White House, limiting its casualties as well as the economic fallout, his company is also navigating a major threat to the hospitality industry. That threatens to pull Trump in opposite directions, because the strategies that many scientists believe will help lessen the public emergency—like strict, long-lasting restrictions on movement—could deepen the short-term problems of Trump’s private business, by keeping doors shut and customers away.

US was more prepared for pandemic than any other country, Johns Hopkins study found-- an assessment seemingly at odds with claims by you libtards that the Trump administration left the country vulnerable to the coronavirus outbreak.

Maybe because we spend more money than any other country? Logic, it’s tough, I know.
