These companies normally run 24x7 and are considered "critical infrastructure industries". We spend more money by far than any other country on the planet when it comes to research and development in the medical field. That has nothing to do with Trump’s response. N95 masks went from 30 cents a piece to upwards of 15 dollars because the idiot won’t enact the wartime measure to force companies to sell the federal government at a reasonable price to then coordinate the response and push inventory to where it is needed.
