Yards and attempts probably comes down to how well the defense is at keeping teams from scoring. Giving up quick scores will mean a lot of passing most likely.

I never really understood why Bud would do the move partially out of spite and then not keep the branding active, which seems like more of a spiteful thing to do than rebrand. Like imagine coming back to Houston every year as the Oilers for Bud. Maybe he didn't expect a Houston team to return so quickly?

I think they were locked into OT and whether Latham was at the top of their board or not, it potentially moves their guy up the board for other teams, so it's probably just a reaction to that.

Scouts are also looking for team culture fits and scheme fits etc. It isn't always as simple as finding the most talent. Also we don't really know how accurate they are because we're not privy to much of what they would produce, obviously.

My memory is fine. It was briefly like you describe and it didn't stick. It went back to Henry carrying everything and the run setting up the pass talk for the most part.

Given the names of some starters last season, I think skills wise he could still easily start, but a team may decide they'd prefer to see what their Devito, DTR, Bagent etc level rookies they inevitably pick up can do instead.
