I have my doubts about the offense, but Daboll helped correct a lot of deficiencies in Allen as a passer, so that's a plus. Besides the fact the offense doesn't exactly fit Cam in terms of running, I maintain that the issue Daboll has to correct for the offense to succeed is Cam turning the shoulder and escaping the pocket outside the tackle. He has to step into the pocket and then find space laterally along the LOS.

He's shown what he can do outside the pocket. It's how he gets outside that needs to be fixed. Reminds me of Caleb Williams, who is more athletic and not a guy Cam needs to mirror.

The rest is footwork on his throws because he's excellent at reading the field when he isn't bailing and his release is one of the quickest in the NFL.

I sincerely doubt Daboll is going to use Ward like he did Allen or Jones or Dart on designed runs.  That's not Ward's skill set even though he can effectively scramble some and especially with early Allen and Jones they were heavily reliant on their run ability to be functional at QB.

I fully expect the Titans to try to establish a power run game and use play action/boots to help Ward develop and try to minimize whatever deficiencies are in his mechanics/accuracy.

Dabolls offense has looked different within tenures. The 2022 Giants offense looked nothing like the 2025 one

You are absolutely right they’re guaranteed to do more under centre stuff (there was always good sign of this in PS). The main thing that will be constant looks to be a heavy dose of RPOs

lol this dude picked up the mantle from Stillman before it even fully hit the ground.

People who speak like that always bothered me. It's the head moves and facial gestures. It's pompous in a way that even CTF couldn't accomplish. The words fill in the gaps some of you may hate me is the Clay Travesty happening.

Pretty much my exact feelings on Daboll and the roster construction.

Daboll is going to force Cam to run more and it could lead to injury... and then people here will start to doubt him (already happening)... and it will be 99% because of his surroundings and this franchise's ineptitude. Then he will go elsewhere and show success.

If he doesnt get hurt, hopefully Daboll actually develops/morphs the offense for him rather than being excited about Cam in his current offense that has only been successful with running QBs, hopefully Borgonzi can keep adding draft pieces and we can actually develop the kid.

Back when we were discussing whose offense would be a better fit between Daboll and McDaniel I remember people coming down on the side of Daboll's offense. As in McDaniel's would be too rigid whereas Daboll's would fit Cam's skillset more.

Now we have the guys in that video saying shit like "that's not what he was drafted for". Well, first of all wtf does that even mean? And secondly why is Daboll's offense all of the sudden a big worry?

They should pull his creds next fuck em all. Wage war on this absurd local media culture the Titans have.

These guys are so self-absorbed. Fans don't give a shit when someone has their media credentials revoked. The only people who care are other folks with media credentials who think they might be next.

winner winner. and the clowns like @Jamalisms who rode the coattails of  @Jonboy and @TitansGuru on the podcast years ago.

One of my favorite things is when someone tags me unprompted out of the blue, simply because they're a triggered loser. Congrats.

Cry harder, I guess.

I thought the argument was Air Cornell vs EP.

Cossell and many others (those guys in the vid included I believe) like the AC offense more for Cam - Deep shots down the middle reading inside out and deep to short.

These EP offense is what Daboll runs and it relies on a power run game and a well balanced passing attack. Pass to score, run to win. It's really more of a verbiage and concept thing than staples of an offense being things like deep shots in the AC offense. How they pass to score is changed frequently based on your own teams personnel and the defense.

As a quicker verbiage and power running offense with a balanced passing attack, that excels with smart QBs, it fits cam... maybe not as well as the AC but still should be a fit- traditionally. The passing /route concepts work regardless of alignment/ formation. There's more option routes too.

But there's timing aspects of McDaniel and his brain and aggressiveness is why he'd be a good fit for Cam even though he's more west coast.

The worry with Daboll is he's a bit all over the place mentally and has only succeeded when he got his QBs running. As a coach, people think he may lean into the worst traits of cam rather than his best.

IMO the best coach would be Mcdaniel, the best O would be the AC side of EP (they aren't far apart) with talent that does well on deep shots.. but a lot of the passing game would benefit from the timing shots of McDaniel.
