BTW I literally just asked my wife after showing her the photos if she’d be okay with me doing that with another woman at a remote hotel and she laughed and said no it would not be okay.

When I told her the takes here, she laughed (at me, really) and said what she has said many times - "I don't know why you spend so much time at that place when everyone is an idiot and just likes arguing."

Did you tell her they were there with no other friends and family at a resort that's 2k a night?

I asked my wife the same question. She said the hug photo was no big deal. Said the Hot tub was a little sketchy but could be harmless. The last one of them interlocking fingers on the rooftop that she can't get past.

For the record, I haven’t asked my wife her opinion on the story/photos.  Any dude with a pulse knew exactly what’s going on there even before all the added context became available. 
 

As a male with a pulse, here are the reasons you enter another lady’s hotel room.

The fun part is, when more info comes out it's either not going to be a big deal or it will be worse than the photos were and I'll say I'm right and because people either can't read or don't want to distinguish, they'll say they were right because it ended up being bad. And then we can just pointlessly argue about that.

The pictures in isolation could plausibly be explained away. But when you put them in the context of the entire weekend and the fact that multiple people who were at the resort with no reason to lie said they were only seen by themselves and not with anyone else...they're incredibly incriminating. You'd have to be extremely naive...or more likely have an incentive to want it to be innocent to not believe the obvious explanation.
