Titans Get The #4 Pick In The Draft

Recommended Posts

Don't like Howell at 35.  He's a DPR.  Titans need a potential  every down starter at that spot.  WR, CB, LB, OL should all eventually be in play.  BPA and that's not Howell.

Love immediately makes you a more explosive team. He's going to add 10-20 TDs a year through the run and pass game. He's going to upgrade your pass protection. He's going to force teams to account for

The Jaguars gave up what again for Travis Hunter? This notion we should take less capital is kind of mind boggling. If a team wants to move then they need to pay the full price.

It would have been nice to have that #1 pick, but #4 is still a good place to be.  We'll be guaranteed either Bailey, Styles, or Love, all of whom could be as good as anyone at their respective positions.  They are all better prospects than anyone from a year ago, outside of Carter.

I’d be happy to watch all 3 no matter who we get.

I still think Carter was way over rated.

Was listening to the Cowboys Draft Show today and they were talking about how disappointing Keldric Faulk was at the combine. Had me thinking how he has gone from a potential top 5 pick early in the CFB season to hanging on to go in the first round.

He's a second rounder at best

If we sign hendrickson and wandale, I'd be good with love. Otherwise there are other pretty good options at RB and I think we go pass rusher at 4, a big need.

Why does everyone want Hendrickson all

of a sudden? This team shouldn’t be paying guys like that.

What local media guy started pushing this? lol

I am just feeling they have Love penciled in.  The leak could be an actual leak or it could be a smokescreen but if I'm in their shoes.. At 4, I want to leak who I like bc then teams who want him or someone wanted by the Giants-  we become a likely trade target.  If no one bites, you take the guy we leaked.

You could also argue (correctly) - a scout could like him and leak it and it still not be the pick.  You could also argue correctly- if they wanted one of the edges and wanted to stop teams trading ahead of them- then leak someone else so maybe they think twice about trading ahead of you.

But my gut- says they want a superstar and/or a trade down. If you want a trade down,  you either leak who others covet so they have to trade to get them or you leak who you want so they have to offer better value in trade than the player you like.    If it were me, I'd do the later. So I can shop the guy I like.. and see if I can get a better offer.... rather than deception -- to get a trade down. Deception is just harder to manufacture and predict results.

After trading McDuffie the Chiefs have the ammunition to get up to pick #3 to guarantee themselves Jeremiyah Love if that is something they want to do.

That would allow Ossenfort to pick up more draft capital and take his RT in a more appropriate position in this draft.

I think people are underestimating the angle where Borgonzi strikes quick for Kenneth Walker and is using this Love interest as a smokescreen for that.

If we want Walker we can just go get him by providing him a contract he wants. No reason to smokescreen that lol

That would sure blow the theory that good teams like the chiefs don't value the RB position.
