I’m a fan of the team first and foremost and think Love is a good player. I just think at the end of his rookie year contract, we probably look back with regret is all. Once they become Titans whatever my pre draft thoughts about them disappear and I root for them. TeamRamrod

Love debates for the next two months are going to be entertaining as hell lol We’re pushing back against the exact opposite of this lol idk where you’re seeing a lot of people say they’re not going to do it. The fanbase broadly on social media is acting like it’s a done deal that love is gonna be a titan lol

I absolutely think Love can happen at 4. Saquon Barkley went 2 overall. Love is a superstar prospect and there are few of those in this draft. I see mostly problems with the Edge candidates. Now if they think one of those Edges is a superstar, generational- of course they need to take them. But if they evaluate them as risky or more of a mid level value in most drafts or poor scheme fit.... then that opens up options. WR's kinda of suck at 4. So that really leaves Downs or Love and both would be "high" for their position. If they dont love these edges, they could absolutely be in Love with love. I'm here for it just for the freak out. I don't know that this draft is that attractive for trading up to 4. Too few QBs and the Edge candidates all have questions. japan

He's an example of reaching for a need. He's what.. an average RT now? Not what you wanted to spend for 7th overall pick. The talent eval is just so much more important than the position. What running back should they have drafted over their starting right tackle that year? And no we don’t regret Latham yet at all Edited March 3 by TeamRamrod

I haven't looked back but I am sure I can go back and monday morning qb that draft to show who they should have drafted over Latham. The point is- no one should get stuck on position and need to focus on getting the talent eval right
AvgJoe
I think people are underestimating the angle where Borgonzi strikes quick for Kenneth Walker and is using this Love interest as a smokescreen for that. headhunter

When the position can be found later on or in FA (or trade) yes it matters . Here are the last few starting RB in the conference championships: Walker (2nd rounder ), Stevenson (4th rd, draft), K Williams (6th rd), Harvey (3rd rd—the other RB was a FA signing that got injured). Barkley (FA signing), Pacheco (7th rd), Cook (2nd rd), Eckler (FA signing). You do not need to spend a top 5 pick on one. I can’t remember when the last time someone spent a top 5 pick on a RB and their team reached the SB or a conference championship game.
