We're not going to know much until maybe even year 3. It's unrealistic to expect a rookie QB to come in and play like a veteran...especially with what Ward has to work with. I've seen enough to know he has what it takes as long as they build the team around him.

There is nothing concerning about him. Hes got a strong mental makeup which is the most important for getting through this season. 

 

All of his mistakes, are very correctable.

I have total confidence that Ward was the right pick to build a team around. His desire and work ethic are excellent and he has the physical and mental skills it takes to be a great QB and leader. I'm more worried about the organization fucking it up by not surrounding him with the coaches and players he needs to be successful.

Peyton threw 28 INTs his rookie year. Many rookie QBs start on bad teams, for obvious reasons. This year is development, and that's all it is.

If ward is legit then this shit show of a season could help in that he's adjusting to the speed of the NFL under some of the worst possible circumstances.  It should only get easier as more competent coaches and players are put in place.

It’s easy to forget he’s a rookie. The game hasn’t really been too fast or big for him yet.

 

I am curious to see how the batted balls and ball security develops as well as him learning to use his legs more.

He needs to work on his mechanics and he needs more talent around him. But these are all offseason things that can’t be helped right now.

I voted 50%, not because of anything he has done, that is just where I was when we drafted him.

Cam is the least worrying thing about this team right now. I have zero concerns about his ability to develop into a premier QB. I do think the team might suck so bad that they delay the fruits of that #1 pick, but I still think his rise to franchise QB is inevitable.

If you don’t have legit doubts creeping in, you’re not being objective. He’s started missing reads and trying to do so much extra stuff like changing arm angles and scrambling. 
 

The guy has no quit. I don’t think he will be a bust by any means, but he might be a bust for the Titans because we didn’t foster an environment that he could thrive in.

 

Too many holes on this roster. Once again in 2026 he will need a mulligan year because they’ll turn over the roster and add rookies. And a whole new staff.
