  1. 1. Where are you on Ward at this point?

    • 100% (total mulligan season, his supporting team is absolute garbage)
    • 75% (still very confident, some creeping doubts but nothing I'm worried he can't overcome)
    • 50% (He's shown enough to give us legit hope, but also shown enough for us to think he could legitimately bust out)
    • 25% (He might still be alright, but I've got major concerns that we may have made a mistake)
    • I've given up/never wanted the bum in the first place (told ya'll we shoulda traded back)

Judging him completely on his own I thought he'd be better. He's left too many plays on the field when the play was there. He's played too fast and rushed things. He's bailed the pocket and created hi

He’s pressing because he is sick of losing and it’s causing decisions like holding onto it too long to happen. I cannot wait for him to have a competent HC and offensive staff

He also did a lot of the same things in college. The situation is a problem but some of these traits are not new and won't just go away. He's going to have to work on it.

The two things that you saw from the college tape that have kind of are still there are the pocket management issues (drifting into sacks /pressure) and deep ball accuracy.

I think he can improve on the deep ball stuff not sure about the pocket stuff.

The only thing that makes me feels better about Cam's pocket management is Shadeur's pocket management. Did you see that shit? Good lord almighty is he bad in the pocket.

I thought the last game against Houston was his best pocket game of the year.  He was getting rid of the ball quicker and didn't have any of those ridiculous sacks when he kept backpeddaling, held the ball forever and got sacked.  They clearly worked on it during the bye week.  The fact that he can improve upon it after just two weeks off of games makes you think now that he's starting to adjust to the speed of the game at the NFL level he can become at least decent at it.

I didn’t .  I was watching Chiefs -Broncos and ignored the Browns game.

Part of me wants to see him start our game but we need to lose and I would rather have Gabriel start.  He isn’t a total trainwreck (Gabriel) but he doesn’t have an NFL level arm.

I watched it and it was shocking. His numbers were pathetic but he played so much worse than those numbers

It was comically horrifying. Easily the worst pocket presence I've seen in a long time. Dude would just absolutely refuse to step up into clean pockets and ran a mile backward whenever he saw pressure. He looked even worse than he did in that Nebraska game. I won't lie, I did like him coming into the draft. I liked his ball placement, what appeared to be quick decision-making, and he does have some toughness but I don't know that you coach what I saw on Sunday out of him. It was an embarrassing display and the excuses people were making afterwards were even more embarrassing.

I’m all in, he just has too much of “it”

It’s easy to forget he’s a rookie. The game hasn’t really been too fast or big for him yet.

I am curious to see how the batted balls and ball security develops as well as him learning to use his legs more.
