I don't understand wanting to trade Sweat. He's good value for this team.

The Jones trade was the ideal type of trade we should be trying to go for and am so glad we executed it.

Extra pick, plus chance for upside. Rental player who we were not likely going to bring back (but still could) and now have capitalized on it. As much as I didn't like the Brownlee trade, love this one.

Wow given the Ravens reasonably easy remaining schedule these conditions aren't impossible to hit.

Getting two sacks is a great individualmilestone, but making the playoffs is a team thing which they and only they should have to bear.

It speaks more about Ward behind the scenes…

Of Jones sees the pot of money AAS has to spend in 2026 when he is a FA = more likely because incentives dictate outcomes.

I understand the thinking of wanting to  hold on to Ridley-- just don't agree.

We'll be paying the dollars either way it goes. Not sure if there is a cap hit penalty of some sort for moving him.

Jefferson's production is not all that different THIS season from VJ's. I would take no pleasure in Ridley breaking out the second half of the year while we still lose. We can lose with anyone at WR, but we might get a better idea of what VJ can do.

Ward spent his college career at 3 different schools-- seems like he'd be use to adapting to change. If you really want him to be "comfortable", find snaps for Restrepo.

Ridley will help Cam the next 8 games, that is why you keep him.  You need Cam to have three functional WR in him, Dike, and Alic.  They need to use Ridley to give the pups better match ups and the OC needs to feed the pups not Ridley or VJ

I Like the odds of hitting those incentives. The Ravens are definitely in the playoff hunt despite their slow start.

Ridley has had a terrible year so far....his trade value will never be lower than it is right now.    He's a highly-paid 30-year old WR who's missed multiple games due to injury....and when he did get on the field, he was inconsistent and largely non-productive with several bad drops.

If they trade him now, they'll get nothing of any significant value.   Maybe they agree to eat a ton of his salary in exchange for a slightly better pick.

Or they just keep him and hopefully he bounces back with a strong finish to  the season to improve his trade value this offseason.

Ridley's stock has already bottomed out.     There's an argument to be made for cutting their losses now and selling while they still can ....but his value has already shit the bed;  they might as well just ride it out and hope  it improves.  It certainly can't get much worse.

If Ayomanor would step up, Ridley would become expendable.

The ravens incentives still doesn't answer whether the Titans would get the Ravens pick or a 4th round comp pick they might acquire.  In either case, the potential move up isn't that significant but still welcomed.

And assuming the upgrade is the ravens pick and you want the highest possible pick for the Titans, then you would root for them to win enough games to creep into the playoffs and then immediately lose.

I thought you couldn't trade comp picks?

Every time Ridley has been positioned as a #1, he's been a disappointment. He needs to be a #2. As others mentioned, his value is at an all time low and we're on the financial hook (trading him for anything would mean we'd eat a lot of his salary).

I think what he offers us as a player is far more value than what we'd get in a trade right now. The goal this offseason should be to slot him into the #2. They need more depth. I don't think you go into next season hoping Ayo and Dike are full-time starters. Let Dike be the starting slot, Ayo as the #4, Ridley as the #2, and find a true #1. We can't have two starting WRs with shaky hands -- they have to bring in someone who can consistently bring the ball in.

I think next season, if the rookies step up more and Ridley looks expendable, then you can entertain a trade.
