I'd be happy with Saleh - I can't imagine him not being a top candidate.

Not crazy about it but I get it. it would depend on who he brings to run the offense. Lets be honest though, none of us know shit about how it will work out. Callahan was proof of that as the hire was praised by nearly everyone not named @TerryBoats. The staff outside of Holz was praised as well. In the end, we don't know if any of these guys will work out

It's interesting though that Saleh is so much more highly regarded by most fans than Nagy and yet 

 

Saleh never had a winning season as HC

 

Nagy had only 1 losing season out of 4, won COTY, and made the playoffs twice

Shanahan offense is the best overall offense right now probably, highest natural floor, but would also be the biggest adjustment for Ward - totally different in so many ways than anything he's ever done in terms of passing concepts.

Hard to judge Tony Oden and Steve Jackson but they could be replaced.
 

Everyone else is not bad and actually decent Imo for what we've had to work with. Bring in a HC/OC (both having success calling plays before) and whomever else to add to the staff that helps on O.  bring back munch (pipe dream probably)

 

I think Wilson has been hamstrung for 2 years and did the best he could with zero corners and 1 good front 7 player.  I like the way theyve played despite losing half the D.

 

 

That staff is why they fired the headcoach.   They go. Again-  coaches are system managers. These guys are the system. If you dislike the headcoach... if he was bad enough to be fired- he was bad BECAUSE he hired and put these guys in place.
