EDIT: I'm not arguing that Vrabel was some great coach. Just that technically winning that 'one more game' has a very high difficulty rating... Vrabel also came back multiple times in elimination games and totally sucked. KC, Cincy, Ravens and Jags were totally inept coaching displays. How about that fucking punt on 4th and 2 from the 40 yard line? Many other examples. ChesterCopperpot1, Callidus, IowaOiler, and 4 others

Nash
One thing that I've noticed this week is how, on a variety of shows on cable, the conversation around NFL teams has changed. With all due props to Oman, the discussion now centers around do teams have high quality players at these spots: 1) QB 2) 2 solid offensive tackles 3) 2 outside receivers 4) 2 pass rushing DE's Everything else is interchangeable. Yes teams must be solid up the middle to run and stop the run, and must be solid, not elite at cornerback and safety.. but the currency now appears to be that teams must be able to pass and stop the pass to be successful.. EC34
Titans/Oilers Top 5 Coaches #1. Jeff Fisher (how many other Super Bowl appearances have we had) #2. Bum Phillips (the AFC championship ran through Pittsburgh and a back judge with poor eyesight) #3. Mike Vrabel #4. Sid Gillman (truly an offensive genius in a very different era of football) #5. Jack Pardee (it was fun until it wasn't) DCTitan
