Titans 2025 Training Camp Discussion

Recommended Posts

With Burrow in Cincinnati they started 2-10-1 and Burrow got hurt in that time for the year.  Obviously you hope that doesn't happen to Ward but I think Callahan is going to use the 2020 Bengals as a model for this year's Titans team.  With the hopes that in 2026 they're competitive, possibly for a playoff spot.

Of course they wanted to name the Titans pass rush the Tickle Monsters or whatever it was.....

More suited to cover the Harry Potter series!

Some of those guys are pretty cool but, yes, nerdy as hell.

Been tuned out for a while, but are folks here still hyped about Restrepo making the final 53? Haven’t seen him called out in a bit or in any practice reports?

He's been ratioed at practice. Seems like guaranteed PS

If you’re talking about Callahan right now you’re retarded

The Titans are one of the worst teams in the league

His job isn’t in danger

His job is definitely in danger.  He has accomplished nothing.  We are not hearing reports of the defense being utterly putrid…it’s his offense.  He is screaming now because he feels the pressure and he knows he is in over his head.  Keeping Callahan is what bad franchises do.  They should have started from scratch with a new coach and QB.  Next year, Cam will be learning a new offense with a new coach, delaying his progress.

Ehhh, the offense hasn't  looked good most practices but this was the only time he went off on them when it was especially bad. This dislike of him being vocal about his disappointment is so strange to me.

Everyone crows about the game being so much softer than in the past and denounce the beta nature of some players and coaches. The coach goes old school and ripps the team a new one and he is an emotional cripple?

Every coach i ever had yelled at us for seemingly nothing. Its just how it was. So please, someone explain to me how the two sides of this argument add up.

Yelling is the last desperate attempt from a man that has no plan.

So basically every coach in history has no plan? Sure yelling can be a sign of someone who has no real argument and they just want to either intimidate or deflect on the current situation to like you said hide that fact.

However, you can also just be mad, trying to get a point acrosss, making sure everyone hears you.... there are lots of reasons that are not just "i got nothing".

Idk about other spots but I would bet you would be hard pressed to find any good coach that never yells at players. The whole point was they did it constantly in the past which is seen as some golden bygone era of the sport.

^^^^^

bullshit!

If the HC sees his players giving less than 100% effort, it's his JOB to get in their grilles and call it out. It has zero to do with "the plan".

The problem with the nerds that head up Titans reporting isn't that they're bad reporters; it's the fact that they don't know ball like that and don't look like they were ever even varsity caliber football players in high school. I don't know how it was for everyone else where they played but at my high school you weren't allowed in the film sessions unless you were a regular varsity player/starter. I don't know that these guys know what they're looking at half the time without someone more knowledgeable having to tell them.  Now I'm not saying you have to have played D1 college ball to know the game but IMO you just l miss out on a ton of context if you never really played.

why wouldnt they let other players in to film sessions? you have to learn how to watch film. We'd have everyone in the film room so the young guys could watch and learn what to do from the upper classmen
