Titans secure picks #1 and #35 in the 2025 Draft

If we trade with a NYG, LV, NYJ with a 2026 1st in the deal there's a very good chance that ends up being a top 5 pick. Giants and Raiders especially play in brutally tough divisions.

If you look at what the Lions have done, it took 3-4 seasons. Those first few seasons were rough. But they built up the lines, added more talent, and now they're a contender. It didn't happen overnight. We may have to take the long approach.

The key to winning multiple SBs is to have a QB and a good coach.

They've added two OL via top 11 picks and signed another to a big FA contract... I think it's as good a time as any to try and work with what they've got.  They certainly can't wait until Skoronski and Latham are in the final years of their rookie contracts to decide they want to start competing.

And fuck ESPN and the NFLN you pricks can't go to a commercial before the #1 pick.

Let us old-school football guys take a moment appreciate to the fact that the Titans earned the #1 overall pick the old-fashioned way.   Not by tanking or by trading up, but by simply being

I'd hate Hunter. The Titans best position is likely CB and you don't take a WR that high. If the Titans traded down to 3 and Carter went 2 I'd rather trade down again and maybe go for someone like Mem

Matt Miller - No 1st round grade on the QBs this year. Says he would take all 6 QBs from last year over either of the top 2 this year.

Trubisky and Wilson say hi... and even the real scouts and gms get it wrong half the time.

I listened to the Matt Miller interview on 3HL. The issues he had with Cam's game were not fatal flaws in my opinion. He talked about his tendency to camp out in the pocket, which can be fixed. He also mentioned arm strength. His arm looks plenty strong to me. Hr is not Josh Allen, but i would say he had every bit as much arm strength as Mahomes. He said he was lazy in the pocket, but i look at him and see calmness. One thing he has that cannot be taught is the ability to feel the rush. Almost like he has eyes in the back of his head. Most of the great QBs posses that trait, and it is something you are born with. Levis was about as bad as I've ever seen at it.

I have no problem with saying you like one of the QBs this year. Fall in love with whichever prospect you want to. Where I disagree with you is this idea that this year's class is just like every year's draft class and it's some random youtube draft nerd that's driving everyone's opinion.

Never said that but so many of you hang on the draft media to back up your opinions without every acknowledging these guys get it wrong almost every year like everyone else. I have no idea how the titans will grade Ward or Sanders but I know it won't matter what Miller and McShay have to say about it.

And I'll add that I'm not even advocating Ward is worthy of the top pick or is anywhere close to the level of prospect we saw in the top 3 last year. But behind Nix,Penix, and McCarthy? Or not anywhere close to a 1st rounder? Please.

I would probably put him ahead of Nix and Penix as a prospect. I liked McCarthy better, though.

And of course, people use professional media to support their opinions, and of course those guys get it wrong. They are still WAY more credible than anyone on this board, including you or me.

No doubt but we never talk about their misses and act like their infallible. For instance I watched the Ward breakdown, posted in the Ward thread, by the youtuber dude earlier and he was way more effusive in his praise of Ward than I liked but he did a nice job overall. And then said he missed on Daniels last year. Miller rarely admits being wrong and its usually years later. Go look at how he pitched Trubisky or talked about Allen or Mahomes. We lock in too much as these guys. Dude is already out there calling the 2027 draft class the best he's ever covered lol.

The other thing I get tired of the macro "Here's my board, I have x grades on these guys" crap. Miller should breakdown Ward like the dude above did, spend 30 mins going through each area and layout the case why Ward is not a top 5 pick prospect wise let alone a 1st rounder.

Another bonus is hopefully Brinker can bring some of that Green Bay Packer Mid Round Offensive Lineman Drafting Magic. It’s honestly annoying how good they are at finding offensive lineman in the draft lol

That’s what we did under Floyd Reese.

Let me share a bit on Ward. I know being the Miami fan here, people probably think “of course he loves Ward, he is biased!”

Cam spent only 1 season at Miami. When he removed himself from the Draft and transferred, I thought he would be decent. It was kind of a “meh” reaction on my part. Yes he makes us better, but this isn’t some game changer.

Turns out, he was a game changer and a culture changer to boot.
