It's just a 1-year rental... so as of now, DHop, Boyd, and NWI are gone next year. Still gives Burkes Phillips a chance - especially if they take leaps forward and stay healthy this year. 

Burkes doesn’t play special teams and Phillips barely does. One of them probably needs to go.

I'd say Philips is the most at risk here - he'll need to ball out in camp and/or need Jackson to flop.

I think Phillips is safe because of his skill set and ST abilities.  Burks to KC at some point before opening day happens.  I also think it will rejuvenate his career.  The Rice suspension is creating the need and Worthy is their speed guy.  They need a big body WR.

He only does punt returns and we just drafted someone to replace him at that. 
 

He effectively is an offense only guy now, as is Burkes.

I don't see Burks getting traded like some are claiming.  They still need outside receiver depth and while Hopkins played well last year, he is turning 32 and Ridley has played a full season twice in his six year career.

There's rumors of the team looking to trade Burkes... but that said, I think Burkes was a pretty decent blocker and would find a place on KR with the new rules as its pretty close to how WR block normally.

 

I'd like to keep both because injuries and the previous staff have kept them from getting a fair shake... but yeah, could see either being gone. Feels like Phillips is hurt more by this as he isnt going to backup the x/z spots.

Lol...Phillips only ST ability is to muff half his punt return attempts.  Andy Reid is too smart to trade anything of value for Burks.

Burks has talent.  I wouldn't trade him.  Give him another year in an offense that's more focused on the downfield game and see what happens.

You hold on to Burks in hopes he shows something.  They are an injury away with an outside receiver from having a problem.....Depth isn't a bad thing.
