Titans at Steelers Gameday Thread - Week 9

Well we had a chance. I hate to think we were this close and should have beat these guys, but still promising overall. Coaches need a little more offensive testicle dropping if we’re being honest.

It’s nobody’s fault per se but it’s weird this is the exact kind of guy checking gritty road loss to a conference opponent most pundits and some fans wanted Levis to have. Some of its on Levis, the coaches, the OL shambling, the crappy run defense, the lack of secondary depth, but I hate the narrative came true this week.

Pittsburgh is still weak, but I guess the Titans are as well. But this iteration has promise. And I don’t fault the effort at all. Just some of the coaching logic.

He knocked himself out while sacrificing his body while completely selling out to make a play for the team. What's wrong with some of you?

Such a loser mentality. “We knew we were going to go for it on 4th down”  You know what’s even better? NOT GETTING TO 4TH DOWN AT ALL.

Skoronski played LT at the highest level in college against the best competition.   Acting like he's a reach to play LT is absurd

Logically you can't go conservative on a 4min drill to win. EVEN IF you can get a stop (if you can't march down the field), you're essentially forcing the QB to get lucky vs prevent D instead of just allowing him to operate without the force of time and prevent D.

But I do need to point out that once again, the offense scored 16 points on the road, didn’t get a bunch of explosive past plays, worked great on third down, and weren’t great in the red zone.

It’s a big reason why they’ve lost it straight Road games

Just like Tannehill was a stud until he wasn’t right? Little early to call Levis a stud. He has a LONG way to go before becoming a good NFL QB. I mean he was just out played by Kenny freaking Pickett tonight. Let that sink in….

Pickett was hardly under duress. Levis was getting murdered or running for his life every play. Pickett was up against zero pass rush and poorly playing corners. I guarantee that if the shoe was on the other foot, and Levis was under no pressure, he would have lit the building up.

You’re terrible at this. Take a leave.

Eh, Levis hasn't looked good in the second half but you can't write him off based on that any more than you can send him to Canton after week 1. A game winning drive will make us all forget it though lol

Thanks for telling us not to write him off…
