pat
Even if pool boy throws 3 interceptions in the Wildcard game I still want him to start in 2024. Levis made a lot of small good plays, a fair number of big great plays, and also some bad plays. Take note that the one 3rd and long he was nowhere close to converting it. titanruss

That hard stare from Levis when asked about splitting the game with Willis is even funnier in hindsight. Popular Post cenj
A number of posters 100% made the argument that we needed to see what we have in Levis before the draft. If he sucked as terribly as some predicted, then OK -- we move on and draft a QB. If he performs well, we invest in him. And people definitely made the argument that this offense under Tannehill was atrocious and couldn't be much worse with the Levis (Willis is uniquely bad at being QB and I don't remember people arguing he was a future franchise QB). Likewise, posters arguing to bench Tannehill were called morons at times and given the "just wait and see how much worse it will be" warnings. So yeah -- everyone should be excited about the win and Levis. However, I think some posters have the right to crow a bit because they've been unfairly insulted and mocked with a condescending pretentiousness. I really don't know why it's so confusing. It was obvious why Willis was the number 2 and that Willis wouldn't start when / if Tannehill missed time. I've been explaining it over and over, people just don't want to accept the logic. Nobody thought Miracle Whip would play this well or he would have been the starter day one. It's not like they thought they had a guy capable of going out and throwing four touchdowns and putting up points but just decided not to play him. He was injured most of camp and you don't get a lot of time to really assess guys after that. And he probably grew since then anyway. It's just not that complicated. Sifting through the noise is hard. Notice the shifting argument. Levis should have played earlier to see what we have. Now that has become.....I knew he was better all along and anyone who though otherwise was wrong. titanruss, oldschool, and OILERMAN 2
pat
I think Levis looks like a plus starter at QB like Tannehill. You start Levis because he’s the future, not because he’s “an elite QB” at this point. Mythos27, and NashvilleNinja 1

Vrabel just wanted 100% control of when he played. Not forced into action like a backup would. I like the move. titanruss

h4t
I agree, its not a good look to boo one of your players. I think now that its clear Malik won't be replacing Levis, I see no reason to boo him. Mythos27, and DrFlamehead
