Smokes Posted January 19, 2020 Report Share Posted January 19, 2020 Needed to be more aggressive on the last offensive possession, at the least drain the clock, it worked out as about as poorly as possible. With that said if Peese and company can make those second half adjustments slow down KC and our offense keeps plugging away we can still win this, but these first second half possessions are really going to set the tone. Everyone knew Henry was getting the ball twice. Shit like that is what keeps Vrabel from being great. At least by running they knocked 2 minutes off the clock even in a 3 and out. Their defense should've been gassed. I can't fault Smith leaning on Henry there. The way to avoid it was to score on offense on that last drive and allow the defense to play with a bigger lead and make KC force the issue.
