Kraft can barely string an entire thought together. His interviews pregame to the super bowl were cringy.
scine09
Good move. Best young QB in football IMO. I hope Belichick gives Kraft the middle finger and quits.
HigherLogic
Good for the 9ers. It's a lot of money, but if JG can play like he did at the end of the year they will be setup for a nice run. Lynch has done a great job as GM, imo.

I mean it’s getting ridiculous. There’s no reason he should be the highest paid. On now the next QB will say he should be the highest paid. They really need to put to put a cap on how much a player can make maximum or in 10-15 years QBs will be getting 200 million dollar contracts who haven’t even played in the playoffs. Just insane. I remember when you had to win playoff games and the Super Bowl to get paid with the highest of the highest. BeedoeLaw
If I Were Lynch, I would want to see him play at that level in 2018 before I gave him that much money. 5 games is not a big enough sample size.
Tex in a Can
Jimmy G gets a huge payday based on 5 games for SF and less than 2 games for NE, pretty darn close to gambling.
OILERMAN
JImmy G was good enough that Tom Brady wanted him traded away. Starkiller, and C_Train
Number9
The 49ers, right? They had Alex Smith-ran him out of town. The gave Kaep a huge deal. He's gone. Now, they pay a QB who's played less than five games for them, 22.5m 25.5m per season. Makes sense. CreepingDeath
I don’t understand the outrage. The cap is always going up, so this shouldn’t be a concern. On an individual player level, how does this compare to other sports? I’m surprised every year when I read about what even the most mediocre baseball player makes - especially when compared to star football players. What about Titans not entering the trade. The Titans could finally have had a QB with Garoppolo.

This is the problem with your premise. QB trumps all.
