  1. Past hour
  2. Guys, there is really no point in arguing at this point. Amy will continue to do Amy things to the point that even those who disagree will have to change their opinion. Just let time prove you right.
  3. You claimed Callahan was done when he made that bonehead decision early on in the season last year. I simply said that was silly. Callahan ended up a bad hire, its hilarious many of you wanted him gone after 1 year while also screaming about AAS being impatient. Then you used the fact she fired him after 6 weeks this year with the team spiraling out of control against her. She can't win with fans like you. I'll say it again, She has made some questionable hires for sure; Carthon being the big one. She didn't select Callahan, Carthon and Brinker did. She needs to hire better people, hopefully she has by putting Brinker in Charge of the entire football side of the business and letting him hire Borgonzi. You know the very thing you guys clamored for for years.
  4. Agreed. I think these dummies haven’t realized that teams are stingier with draft picks now. A few years ago you probably get a 4th for McCreary even on an expiring deal. Shit JRob gave up a 5th for that one slot guy who played 10 games. But that’s not the current nfl and McCreary is a decent player but nothing to freak out about.
  5. Yeah. I think he’s only worth getting rid of for a second or maybe third round pick. And no one will offer that.
  6. I've explained this over and over again.. Can't explain Jrob, that was dumb but Carthon got a big fat promotion as a result of the shakeup with Vrabel. Its natural for guys to get extensions in that case.
  7. Right, and remember that The Athletic reported that they considered firing Vrabel at that time too but ultimately decided to keep him and hire a GM (Carthon). One trend I dislike is the tendency to force these shotgun weddings which lasted like a year each. We should finally be on the same page with Brinker, Borgo, and new HC though. Ward is the major element that wouldn’t have full alignment between them, which I think is not ideal. Last year would have been perfect time to bring in a new HC.
  8. As much as I don't want them to make it, one has to recognize that their opening part of the schedule was insanely tough. The Bengals really screwed themselves with the Jets loss and the Steelers are about to go through a very difficult portion of their schedule. The Rat birds needed to win last week to hang around and they did.

    GOP thread

For reference, this woman is DEFINITELY not a democrat. I've heard her stuff before. Hearing this from her is kinda surprising.
  10. Chiefs as well. When Ed Oliver was hurt in the game, the first thought I had was that just upped the price for interior defensive linemen. Chiefs are susceptible to the run. The only good thing is that the offense seems to be good enough that they can get the opponent out of their run game.
  11. They're just pissed they couldn't pummel her in a presser. They seem to have a real fetish for it. Could be a weird sex kink. Idk. In Bongo's case maybe she turned down his medical advice to do surgery in favor of a weight loss drug.
  12. After seeing how things played out and how Vrabel acted, it's hard to call firing him a mistake. That said, the roster was most definitively the biggest factor in all of the losses and they way things have gone since his firing only cement that.
  13. Maybe it was a contractual thing? Maybe getting the extension shifted Robinson's MO/changed him to an absurd degree? Maybe she thought giving the extensions would help spur them to doing a better job, like a carrot on a stick? None of those explanations are particularly satisfying, and the easy scary answer is that her decisions are motionally driven as they look incongruous coming after the extensions, but without vital info all we're left with are speculations. Even if she is driven by her emotions, at least they're driving her on the right side of the road. It's not they're driving her toward head on collisions like firing Jimmy Johnson or trading Micah Parsons... you know, batshit stupid decisions. They're still the decisions people wanted her to make or that she needed to make.
  14. I don't know if it had been posted, but how would ya'll like to have Amy on the headset. I know the coaches probably hate it. She makes some good points though. Shit.....she is spending her money. Thoughts?
  15. Today
  16. I think looking back the Robinson firing was 100% emotional bc AJ just embarrassed us. Her promoting Robinson was the wrong move. her promoting and extending Carthon made 0 sense what so ever bc there was never once when he was here that he acted or sounded competent.
  17. How about the fact Robinson and Carthon were extended and promoted right before they were fired? Especially Carthon?
  18. Because the team has been so well ran in the past few years… you don’t fire Callahan for that one singular decision; you fire him for putting what is possibly the worst team in titans history on the field. He followed that up by putting a team worse than last year on the field btw…
  19. Lol, now I see what you did there! I got a kick out of that. You're pretty Slye!
  20. Steve Largent had a worse RAS than Streppo and he is in the HOF and the Oilers cut him too.
