Popular Post NashvilleNinja
Borgonzi has 7 straight conference championship appearances, 5 Super Bowl appearances, and 3 Super Bowl wins on his front office resumé.  In what universe did Chad Brinker or Brinker's backers really think he was going to hold equal billing with him? He helped or was a part of bringing in Borgonzi, but that was a completely different setup for the GM search.  Apparently this is incorrect and he was brought in by Carthon...which means we are getting rid of the idiocy. I thought Carthon brought Brinker in⦠Tex in a Can

Their jobs were vastly different. He didnt get sidelined. He simply wants to go back to personnel and he couldn't do that here without stepping on Borgonzi.Ā japan, and VaTitan

Brinker should have jist pulled a Cheaney and named himself GM last year if thats what he wanted to get back to. Ā Yeah - Probably really wanted to be lead personnel man and instead got tasked with finding the lead personnel man.Ā Ā And of course that was further cemented by Strunk announcing in Jan that Borgo reported concurrently into the owner and was designated primary football exec.Ā Ā Hope he gets a GM/primary football exec job somewhere though, seems like a competent leader.Ā Thrill, and oldschool

Sorry this does not make me feel good about AAS, obviously. Also makes me a bit more concerned about Borgo and Saleh. I liked the idea of Brinker having a hand in personnel and acting as a pole to counter balance Borgo.Ā headhunter, Callidus, and TheChosenTitan 2
BeedoeLaw
I remember the press conference after they canned Callahan. Brinker did all the talking and Borganzi didn't look like he belonged in the room. It was one of the weirdest press conferences I've ever seen. I believe that was the last time we have heard from Brinker.Ā TheChosenTitan, IsntLifeFunny, and Thrill
